DCHL/SYN/LB; No Longer My Battle...

Dear Friends,

It has been ages since last made my presence here.
I started this blog to advice people on the "unethical" way of doing business that DCHL/SYN/Lampe Berger here in Malaysia.

I've stated that my views are my own personal belief and I am just giving forewarned message to not to fall into the trap of investing a huge amount of money totaling up to RM 30,000.00. What's worst is that you are asked to take up loans to invest in a business that you wouldn't have a surety of 50% or more you would gain back your investment. Unlike property where you can gauge your return of investment with a tenant to rent your unit.

I've got lots of emails asking for help and I have yet to reply any of them since the last half a year (from August 2009). I will do so later by end of September.

My friends, this will be a closure for this blog. I will cease blogging, though I still have lots of stories and news for you. I'm not giving up this battle but merely not continuing this battle as I guess I've done my part. This blog has garnered more than 100 visitors daily from all over the region and the world. Constantly, this is a good number of outreach on a daily basis.

I will keep this blog as it is and there will be no more point of contact to me via email as I WILL NOT check it after 30th September.

Before I end this post just for your info, Steven Yeam Network's leader Steven Yeam has founded another organization. I can't recall what it is called but oh well, seems like maybe he has gone bored of Steven Yeam Network eh?

I wish all of you best of luck in your journey in life and God's blessing is with you, those who has invested and now has to payback your own mistakes. I had to endure the same payback miseries but what to do? We are all greedy human beings.

Still no news about RZ Corporation license yet as of now...
Can anyone who knows about it and wants to help some people out there mind to email me and let me know so I can share to everyone out there!!???

i quit LB on jun this year. u dont have to write a resignation letter. juz go to the office, ask any lady there a resignation form. U fill the form, wait for ur turn, then they will arrange a date of an appoinment for u to bring all the silly lamp and oil.

u still can return all the stuff as long as u do not open it yet, means they still in good condition.

and for ur information, u wont get 90% of ur profit back as they said during ABP. I only get half of my profit ( i did Baron). They will deduct with the commission and also 10% of admin charges.

My comission as a Baron is only Rm48.69. Wut the hell! I put about rm13k to do baron, and the commission is only rm48. It was very very ... i dont know wut to say.

Wut can i say, i feel very regret joined LB. Luckily i dont have any downlines. If not i will feel much more guilty to them.

You've read it and you are well informed now...

Remember I said about some news from Thailand?

Well, I received an email from a reader who is a French national and his wife is a Thai national. I guess, where ever this business goes, the concept is going to be the same. Just that, well the rate to sell the items much similar to what we are selling here.

Nothing much about this email, it is just to post up something here for your reading pleasure. Also an added knowledge of how this business bring run by DCHL a representative of Lampe Berger in other countries in the region.

My name is -------- , French National and my wife is a from Bangkok and unfortunately she's been approached by one of her long term friend to visit the office of Lampe Berger settle in a poshy financial disctrict tower.

Initially we knew she had an activity in marketing, but when she was asked what she was doing, she replied: you have to come to see and i'll explain you. It is excellent business....

Few months after we finally went and she and i was explained about their marketing strategies, etc... For which i was already suspicious as in my country it is not allowed.

Further to her first visit, she purchased a very basic lamp ( to my opinion worth 20$ at most ) and an half full bottle of oil fragrance, for 7000 bht ( about 220 $ ... ! )

Thereafter, she started going to their meeting avery day, paid by herself for a welcome training pack, etc... and suprisingly after two weeks was asked to invest 200 000 bht ( 6200 USD ) to be elegible to a higher level or whatsoever...

Luckily she did not invest in that, as she trusted her friend was upset by facing, and she finally accepted, further to seeing lots of report on your site too.

Thank for taking the consideration in reading my message. But please kinly get back to me if you heaed some things about the activities of DCHL in Thailand.

So when the country of origin itself don't practice this sort of "business" operation at their very own country, I shall not go further but let you do all the thinking, digesting to yourself...

Next is the price of the product which is to French National's opinion is worth $20 at most while we are purchasing this product at about $220 over here. What's the logic of running a business where the similar product can be purchased online at nearly 100 % less than what DCHL and its associated companies are selling?

This I shall let you all my dear humble readers to decipher.. :D

We just celebreated our 51 one year of independence from the British!
How far have we gone we all ought to ask?
There are much more to achieve, well, mostly within our country's governance.
But, all in all, we all love Malaysia don't we? Malaysia Boleh mah...

So back to the purpose of this email...

While everyone is celebrating Merdeka! These few readers of mine are seeking the similar "freedom" from this "business". They seek no where but my help. But I can't help much but just to link them to my old post about getting a re-fund and offer a few words of my 2cents of advise.

The real help should come ethically from their very own "upline" who brought them in. You bring them in, you guide them. Either guiding them to the top or guiding them out, it is the upline's responsibility. As they always claim, they will guide them all the way. Pfft.. when their downline wants to quit, they don't even give two hoots about them.. yeah guide! MY A$$ lah..!!

I see this trend in almost many MLM where these are the actual bad apples and these are the people who ruin the long years of relation with their family or friends because of this one particular kind of business.. SIGH...

I got few emails from the ones seeking "Merdeka" and I shall just post them up there so to say that I've been getting a lot of emails.. :D -__-

RZ Corporation License Cancelled

Hello People! I am back again.. It has been a while since this blog has been updated. Due to busy schedule and everything around me, I have more and more solid and better news to let you guys have a good read at. Of course, the main objective is not to sell this company's products, which I have been asked A LOT of times. The main objective of this blog is to create awareness to the general public of things Lampe Berger, Steven Yeam Network and DCHL will do to make you feel miserable in your life after joining them in the network.

Not all apples are bad, but you are warned now, so that you make your decision better and not complain. Complain, if you haven't read this, but complain not, if you haven't read this blog! :D

Now, this is a piece of news about RZ Corporation. Who is RZ Corporation?

RZ Corporation is the holder of MLM operating license for all DCHL or Lampe Berger activities. I shall not claim that this is coming from my mouth, but thanks to two of my grateful readers (Effandie & Ethan) who alerted me on this matter. Thanks to you two!

The source is coming directly from Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDNHEP) or rather known in english, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (MDTCA).

So, you justify yourself if you should join this company or not. Double check if they have a new company holding the MLM license or not. Insist and demand that they produce a new license, or else, you better stay away from them. Any future dispute, you CANNOT claim, because you are joining an un-licensed company!

Oh remember Bel Air? I just met a lady last week and she was saying how they champion that their essential oil can help cure cancer. Guess what? Her friend who is in the same business, died of cancer. Now, again, THINK. Should you believe what you see or and listen what you hear?

fiuh, for the last 2 weeks i had been introduce to this syn members by my best friend. i met different people, the beginner (franchise) dunno how to spell it, baron, count, challenge marquis, marquis. at first, i though like WOW really got people who get high pay, can buy this and that n so on so on. but then i read and heard about being push to invest 30k+ something for count.. aiyoh.. im only a student.. where can i get the money.. dats a lot nia.. even for that 2.5k i still feel guilty coz borrowing from my friends with no reasons (so not me, hate to lie, jaga waterface lagi).. guess what, i haven’t use their money… still in bank.. i prefer to not berhutang n better use my own money but not enough ley… hihi…

when i went to this dchl office i realize that this fellow (u know who) put their money to buy branded or expensive thing as to make them look smart,grand,and luxury just to promote their so called “luxury” in front of their potential investor so that it will convince them how rich they are… . nah.. im not easily influenced by that, coz i always meet real rich and successful people and believe me u can differentiate who is pretending to be rich people or the real one. (i know there a rich people there but not all rite)

actually i wonder what are they doing at their so called office anyway. some of them just standing outside the office talking n repeating the same thing wad they told me to new comers. i went to dat office many times and that is the only MLM office until now dat i didnt see any sales (u know like people buy stuff) compare to other MLMs. people were just keep on talking and talking the same thing non stop like robot. keep on saying that they x sell product but networking. what the purpose of the products then? expensive plak tu.. theres a franchase dat just start for 3 weeks dgn bangganya told me dat she rejected a job offer coz she wants to concentrate to this business. you know for me thats a silly act. i understand if she already gain a lot from this business but she just a beginner .. she datang office pun just tengok2 n just talk2.. its better for her to accept the job offer while doing the business.. when dah stable then maybe its fine for here to quit.

a lot of things to share actually, after saw with my own eyes what happened and read all the articles about pyramid scam (mengkayakan org atasan?) n this syn thingy i dont want to join. but when I look at my bestfriend face that really want me to join.. duh.. dunno wad to say. she invested 30+++ k already, she’s a student, she borrowed the money from a lot of people, including me. should i join? or not? now she seems like think about money, money and money. money is really important nowadays but it still not everything. money cant buy real friendship if u get what i mean. i may not a big spender, but i rather saving compare to join this kind of business coz i will not just cost 2.5k. it will be more than that. fuel, makan2, attend this and that, reload card,my time.

for those who want to join, think carefully, dont let money change you, dont let people force you to do something that you cant. dun berhutang if u not confident u can pay it back, if you still want to do MLM kind of business n dchl is too expensive try to find other MLM, theres always a choice n you can always say no if you dont want. dont do something out of ur own limit. dun easily influence by the marketing plan, its either u gain money or u loss ur money. guys,, think carefully, do research first b4 u join. like me.. =)

(FYI: i still not join yet still need to do more research, dun want to regret later)

A Refund Experience with DCHL

This is the email I received from this lady about 2 weeks after...

way of getting the refund back... Learn from her courage...

Hi ,

I already went to DCHL to get our refund yesterday.. we told our upline (our colleague) that we're quitting n he was a bit shocked.. maybe he thought we're waiting him to assist us in refunding our stocks..

but what we did was we went straight to the front desk of DCHL n asked the lady about refund.. so she asked whether we have filled in any forms yet? of course not.. she asked how long we have been in this biz.. we told her 2 months.. she asked how many wants to refund do we told her 3 (including my sis, she's my sponsored downline).. so she straight away gave us 3 refund forms to fill in and told us to get back to her once we finished completing the form..

after completing the form, we got back to her and get our no.. we waited for a while and our turn comes.. we need to make an appointment to refund our stocks.. only my sis's account was terminated that day since her stocks was sponsored by me (a franchisee can sponsor 1 franchisee).. so her account was self-terminated.. me and my boyfriend's appointment was arranged to another date..

so when it comes to the appointed date, we went to DCHL with our stocks to be refunded.. but unfortunately, only my account was terminated and got the refund.. my bf's account was advised not to be terminated since when they did the calculation, he only can get back RM1000+ from RM12000+ he invested.. why? becos of the stocks that he received was not returnable..

he received 3 lampes that worth RM1700+ each.. we used 2 of it n the other one we switched with our upline cos he only have 1 lampe in his stock.. so we exchange stocks with the same price.. all the used lampes are not returnable.. there were also short of essential oils that we have already used during the 2 months we're in this biz.. those 3 lampes alone costs us RM4000+ plus a few bottles of oils that we used.. the guy at the counter advised us not to terminate this account cos it is not worth it.. luckily this guy advised us not to terminate the stocks.. so we're thinking in selling those goods to Cash Converters since we once seen a signature lampe sold there.. maybe we can redeem what we lost..

as for my account, i only get RM2300+ from RM3000+ i invested.. i was short of 1 lampe (RM200+), 2 essential oils and an estebel toner.. plus the 10% admin cost (RM250+).. so i lost about RM700+.. that's a lot too.. now we can only refund our stocks in 3months after our registration.. not 6months.. so better hurry for those who wants to quit this..

so, as from my experience.. my advise are:

1. think clearly before joining this biz.. r u prepared to use all your leisure n relax time to do this..

2. do not be too excited with all the wealth they tell u.. i believe this biz can help u to achieve all your dreams but be prepared to sacrifice your time with your family, your loved ones n even for yourself.. u might lost some of your buddies from school/uni/work who doesn't like MLM (those who u invite to this biz as prospects)

3. see the biz in its pros and cons.. everything have its pros and cons.. judge yourself whether u can do this or not and do get consultation from those who are close to u (family members, close friends, gf, bf, etc) before joining this.. do not make your own decision without any consultation cos sometimes, we didn't see what others see.. every perspective counts..

4. if u are still eager to do this biz even your close ones (esp family) object your decision, PLEASE do not make it as a reason they are stopping u from achieving your dreams.. they are thinking for your best.. i heard so many stories about SYN members who doesn't go back to their home becos of their family are not supporting them.. don't forget they will never abandon u when you're in trouble.. not your SYN partners..

i really hope people can see how we see this biz.. we're not against this biz from the very beginning but once we're in the biz, we saw the flaws of the biz.. i believe MLM can help us but the people in MLM are doing it in the wrong way.. everyone can be easily attracted in easy money they portray but make some research and analysis first before joining this..

so friends, if u're thinking of quitting, act fast.. u don't have to wait for your uplines cos it's your decision since it's YOUR OWN BIZ.. be firm with your decision and don't feel sorry for your uplines cos they are your friends.. be sorry for yourself first cos nobody can help u accept yourself.. our upline seems a bit "far" from us since we told him we're quitting though he said he would like us to stay as friends.. we're open and always keep him as our friend..

anyway.. u can share our experience in your blog.. i allow u to publish this anonymously.. thanks for your thoughts.. hope to hear from u soon..

The Problem Lies with the Upline...

Now, many wants to quit MLM. This lady wants to quit because of her upline...
I got this email long time ago and I would like to publish it here for your reading...
You ought to gain some knowledge here...

i joined SYN with my bf 2months back..our colleague introduced this biz 2 us..we felt it was a good opportunity during that time since i was so troubled at work..maybe it was our way out..

we met all those SYN members n they convinced us..they help us applying 4 loans n crdt cards so that we can invest 4 the count position..luckily we didn't get the 14k loan each from bank islam..if that happened..we'll be buried with debts now..

finally..after applying from various banks, we only got a few..i got 4k from citibank n 5k from hong leong bank..as for my bf, he got 4k from cimb, 5k from hong leong n 4k from citibank..he then registered as baron n i registered as a franchisee under him..

See how they encourage you apply loans and apply credit cards just to join?

at first we were active joining the events..from work we head straight 2 HLA..got back home late at nite n d next morning need 2 go 2 work which was so tiring!sometimes i neglected my work n pissed off my boss cos my works r not progressing...

then we started 2 slow down since both of us got datelines 2 catch 4 our projects (FYI,we are engineers..)..then our upline started 2 sms us asking 2 join events..we told him we were busy..but he still keep pushing us n it became so annoying n irritating..he's a count now n targeting 4 challenging marquis in d near time..

then i had 2 go 4 outstation 4 a few days n he still asking us 2 join events..until 1 day during my outstation he sms me..quoting: "bagitau alif(not my bf's actual name) datang event malam ni..event ni penting utk partner baru..suruh dia datang..kalau kau nak dia berjaya la.." it pissed me off when he said kalau kau nak dia berjaya la..as if he's d only one who succeeded in this world..this made me lost my appetite 2 go on with this biz..we already losing our heart in this n this became the X-factor 4 us 2 quit this..

we're planning 2 quit n get our refund but we're not sure of d procedures whether 2 go straight 2 d counter or need d presence of our upline..your blog shows a way 2 refund by writing a letter..is it a must?

i like 2 share some reasons we're quitting apart from our prob with our upline..

1. during d 1st event we joined (b4 we become a partner), we heard about our upline paying tickets 4 us 4 that event(duke sharing)..we were quite shocked though it only costs rm5 per tix but it did brought up a few doubts n a bit confused..what they said was SYN members don't mind sharing stories n tips 2 help other partners n SYN members..that they r like families..but when it comes 2 n event (DUKE SHARING for God sake!), y must we pay??isn't 1 of their success secret was sharing?they said sharing is caring but y must we pay 4 a sharing event by a DUKE which make 6 figures income per month??they can share it 4 free 2 help new partners..n if their reason is 2 book place 4 d event as it is limited seats, y don't they juz use 1st come 1st serve basis?it doesn't make any sense..those dukes r still making money from d new partners who still need 2 pay 4 other things n struggling in their financials..n u can do the maths..even rm5 sounds small per person,calculate it when at least 50 people join d event..rm5 x 50 = rm250..they earn easy money 4 a two-hour-talk on their experience which they kept repeating it over n over again...

2. i'm a muslim..on my 1st monthly members' gathering (MMG), Arch Duke Steven Yeam gave his high motivated speeches..honestly..i enjoy listening 2 his talks n respect him..but what concerns me was when he was invited to b on stage by d emcees, all d applause came n then once he's on stage, their way of welcoming him on stage was shaking hands n hugged each other (kinda arabic style)..it doesn't seem harmful but when seeing 1 of d emcee (a malay girl, marquis, wearing tudung!) shaking hands n hugging with him on stage, it made me think..if i'm a marquis 1 day, i'll b doin d same thing n it's not appropriate n not what muslim women should do..can i prevent this happening 2 me?

3. they also said that we ONLY have 2 pay rm2345 2 b a franchisee n that's all..but they didn't mention about paying 4 every event!d most expensive event was NDO - new distributor orientation which costs us rm150 per person..i can reason out on paying 4 this event cos it was held in hotels..we pay 4 the breakfast, lunch n facilities..but 4 events in d biz center, y must we pay??

4. i also realize that this biz can be too "ambitious" in chasing our dreams..sometimes we forgot that rezeki comes from Him..but if we're too preoccupied with this, we sometimes tend 2 forget Him..sometimes we were so excited about this n forgot or maybe quite late in doing our responsibilities towards Him..sometimes my solat are so near 2 d end of its time n it's not good..i don't want it 2 continue cos i know without His permission n blessings, nothing works out..n i want my afterlife 2 b better than what i have here..wealth is not everything n doesn't mean anything if we forget our creator..

5. i'm in doubt whether this MLM biz is halal or haram..i don't want 2 feed my family with d wrong source..so it's better 2 prevent this cos i'm in doubt..

so for those who have experience quitting this n got refund, pls give me a guide in solving my prob..ur info will b very helpful n i thank u in advance..may God bless all of us n hope people will wake up n see what we saw in this biz..

You judge... I'm not saying MLM can't do.. But sometimes.. it all lies with the leader..
You get bad leaders, you don't go nowhere...
Don't give me the bull of you need to stand on your own and what not...
More of a time, you can't stand alone here because the support needs to come from the top.
This is a fast roll game and you are slow, you are really slow and when you are fast is when you have good and greater support from the top and all...

Sure Lost A Lot of Money

Everyone sure has a friend who would have heard of someone falling into the scheme offered by Lampe Berger/SYN/DCHL/RZ Corporation. Some would end up saying that it is a scam. I would not say it is a scam, but I would derive it as pretty much towards an 'unethical' practice by a handful of distributors to really damage the whole scene. In the end, many suffers.

hi.. i just heard about how my friend being delusioned to being another 'blurred' recruit of lamp berger.
very frustrating when the idea of income generation is based on other people's money instead of hard work of selling products.
she took personal loan just to become one of them. the loan amount can get her a car instead which she has none!
i wonder why she cant guess the scam. only once i heard how they operate, i knew this is a scam business unlike many other MLM out there.

did anyone ever report about lamp berger to the government authorities? let them do some health check on the company; on the business they operating.
especially to those who have experience joining lamp berger.

pity to those who fall into the lamp berger scheme. most of them sure lost a lot of money instead of benefiting from it.

however, congratulations to you for having this blog.

im 1 of the person who was about to be cheated by bullshit company lamp burger,
Im Working in the same building as tghe company is runing.....

The person who app me was a formaly Ranhill civil engg who is getting RM25K a month from Lamp berger as he claim( but that night i saw that fucker go on a Normal Honda EX5 motorbike ) worth RM3,800 otr price..

he brought me up the office, got me to the tour and was telling that this was a great opp for indians.
the matter is now in malaysia we indians r fighting 4 our rights and from no where is idiot comes and says that this is a great opp 4 indians..

they told me to pay RM2,500 to enroll and he was asking my details like how much my saving, what bank accounts i have, can i pay him on the spot or tommorrow.

i told that fxxker that my monthly salary does not reach RM2,500 and he was calling and pestiring me for about 2 weeks by calling from diff diff numbers.

now he stoped calling but they still sending diff people to talk to me as im just above their office in KL menara HLA.......

every singal day more than 700 people r at their office at around 9pm when i go for my dinner cause im working in the night shift..........N this goes on till late at 2.30am.

me an e-mail to correct my wrong? We can't deny the fact that those bad egg is so much so

It was such an angry e-mail and I shall re-post them here for you to read.

I bet you after reading this, you will beware your love ones, brother, sister,
mother, father, uncle, aunty, grandfather, grandmother, boyfriend, girlfriend about
Lampe Berger/DCHL/RZ Corporation and Steven Yeam Network.

Here goes..

I'm a non-LB person, but here's an account of real-life observation and expressions to be shared. While I don't doubt the ability of the minority who somehow managed to make money out of LB (maybe they're lucky... maybe they're good at it, etc), the majority don't really succeed. I'm not going to condemn them here, but LB has definitely left its scar on some people.

Upliners always tell those 'kids' out there that "we help people improve their live by selling opportunities to them... anyone can do LB ... " and so on. When I asked a particular LB "Count" why so many people lose money in it, the verbatim answer given was "people who fail are those who are lemah semangat i.e. weak. What kind of answer is that?

My brother is stubborn and went all against the advices of my parents and me. He bought a Count position and quitted his full-time and good, albeit tough job (tell me, who doesn't start off hard in the beginning? For goodness sake, don't be lazy and afraid of hardship...). Please tell me, whom do you trust more, your family or SYN? Yeah right, please go ahead and argue that you trust SY more than your family because he drives a gorgeous car while our own parents may not drive such a car, for instance. Well, SY drives such grand car because there are many naive kids around!

Like I said earlier, I'm not denying the ability of making money out of such business. Yes, there are success stories out there despite ethics issues in such biz. But how many are there? And let's just assume that the biz is not fishy, does anyone think that it will suit everyone? Each individual is unique and different. Talents differ. Weaknesses differ.

At the moment, I'd say that my bro falls within the category of non-successful LB "businessmen" - LB folks like to call themselves "businessmen" when filling up forms. When he first bought that Count position using my dad's hard, but honestly earned money for his retirement days. I wasn't there when he spoke to my dad on such thing, so I have no idea how he succeeded in his persuasions. All these happened very quickly behind my back & I was shocked. I felt an utter disappointment with the ones I love most.

I've known my bro for more than 2 decades & not to belittle him though, I'm a little doubtful. I could only hope that I was wrong so that things won't turn out badly. In any event, "belum cuba, belum tahu" and at most, he should have started off lower first, if business really thrives like crazy, then perhaps may consider buying that Count position. In this case, losing about RM 40K won't be as bad if your family is financially well-to-do, but for an average middle class family, it's a big slap.

On my bro's case... He claimed that he earned RM 7K during his 1st month in Nov 2007. Bought a phone of RM 2xxx and showed-off to me. Perhaps I was wrong? Later, he tried hard to persuade me to join his biz and I gave a firm NO. He then flashed out his phone to me & said "See this? If you were to buy one, you will have to 'ikat perut' for one month, hahaha!!!" Some more, he said he's going to buy a Nissan Sentra in April. Such arrogant LB Count, what can I say about my own beloved bro? I want to see him succeed in whatever he does, but not such arrogance.

2nd month, he told me he got RM 5k. But came to Jan and Feb this year, he got no pay at all! See... such biz doesn't have very steady incomes. Then he started begging for loan from my parents and me. I have no money for him, so he went to my cousins instead. Then, one of my cousins helped him a little, while the other did not. To be objective, I think that my bro does not deserve sympathy. Who asked him not to save any money in the 1st place? He's over 21 and should have been much more matured that this. "Dah lah tak de EPF", want to spend money like water pulak.

My dad warned him that it should be the last time he help him. Recently, my bro fell into financial hiccups again. Scared to ask my dad, he went to a cousin instead. He didn't even tell me anything. My cousin cousin did not promise to help him, but informed me instead. OMG, what's wrong with my bro? He's so thick-skin and goes around asking for money and I'm sure that if it continues, people will end up avoiding him. Now, don't say buy Sentra, he can't even buy a bicycle (sorry bro, but it's true and I'm frustrated with you). "Kononnya" earn RM 7k per month and still got cheeks to ask for money from people poorer than him! Fortunate for him he didn't qualify for bank loan, or else he would have been declared a bankrupt - at 22!

Such clear signs of biz not doing well and yet he's reluctant to stop, or at least find a permanent job and do LB part time instead. My bro is the most stubborn person I've ever met because he NEVER listen to any advice (other than his upliners'). Therefore, my disappointment in him is beyond words.

Lastly, there are actually many more things I want to say, but I believe I will not say them once I've cooled down. Thousand apologies to all reader(s) if I sound harsh on my own brother, but in reality, I just want to see him behave like his normal self before joining LB. I can't blame the existence of LB/SYN for this, simply you have the choice and prerogative over yourself! It's boils down to the individual to decide on what ought and ought not be done in the frist place. I'd want to see him become a successful chef or having descent work to do, not a failed "businessman" who lives in non-reality world.

MLM-type biz is definitely not for everyone! And feel free to criticise me, if anyone wants to.

Students, The Easy Target!

Who couldn't agree more that mostly those who fall for these kinda "business" are students? They just graduated, they are somewhat less likely to work in Malaysia, due to all those comments on how bad their first job would be and how bad their salary would also be. Given that situation, who wouldn't in their fickle mind want to earn big money with a "Franchise Business" which would one day bring them at the helm of wealth and prosperity and also with a large network that will help build them in the industry?

Who wouldn't eh?

Students are the most easy target due to that particular reason and it is also why most
of the e-mails I get are from students who fall into the "unethical" promise of business
earnings. This is what Lampe Berger, RZ Corporation and Steven Yeam Network will
promise you when you join their "business" network. Not so easy in the beginning but
you will end up raking the riches.

Which in return, a mere recruiting process other than selling. This is not "franchising"!
This is GIMMICKING the franchise model!

Hello!! I'm glad I've found this site. I'm 20yrs old, currently a college student, I managed to make a few friends from DCHL 2 months ago. It wasnt until few weeks before that one of my friend brought me to her "company". I was so surprised cuz I thought she was working somewhere else, but then she told me this was her part-time job, I was like ok. So, without any further thoughts, I went to her office with her. To be honest I was so impressed by the Estebel SPA, Lampe Berger thingy which she claimed are all artistic product and also E.P cosmetic products. They did a T-up, and she asked her other fren to explain how this "investment" works. Juz like what they all claimed when they first arrived at the office, I know straight away it's a direct selling business juz that a lil diff from what I used to know.

With a lot of sweet sweet talks, they keep telling me how other hav successed through this business, and we should look at it in a different way. a new and modern way of doing things. They told me not to tell my family, and also my closest one - My hubby that I am in this business, as this will affect my perception towards DCHL, and also they told me not to tell anyone unless u have learned anything as ppl will encourage me to stop becuz they think this is a lie. Ok ~ I was convinced, and I seriusly don think of telling my own hubby that I'm gonna spend RM2.5 k on this membership franchise thingy, which I think would shocked him. So ~ after a few hours of talk they, and discussing the marketing plan from Franchise >Baron> Count>Marquis they finally asked

:"So what do you think? is this a good plan...?"

"Yep.. it's good."

" What are you waiting for, sign the form and u'll be part of us!"

"Well..ok." (without much thinking."

"But then, how much are u willing to invest?"

(I was thinking of saying RM10.00 ...) "I donno.."

IF IT WAS RM50-100 I WOULD SERIOUSLY THINK OF JOINING BUT RM2,500 THAT IS A BIG DEAL TO ME DUDE! AND U KNOW WHAT, THE THING THAT I SO ANGRY OF IS THAT THEY DON, YES THEY DON EVEN THINK OF YOUR SITUATION BEFORE ASKING YOU TO JOIN, WITHOUT EVEN MENTIONING THE RM2.5 K TO YOU BEFORE HAND AND THEY SERIOUSLY DON GIVE A DAMN OF UR FINANCIAL SITUATION. after that my fren invited me to a roadshow and they recommended me to join this promo pack, facial treatment where i can get this blablabla package which cost about S$250 and the marquis gave me another extra foc spa treatment.. ok it wasnt bad, I signed up! but then, they invited me to this R&R in KL which after that I was told i'd have to pay RM50 for the entrance and I've brought along my hubby, which he thought was a trip to KL for fun. It seriously exhaust our energy sitting few hours in the stadium for the recognition thingy. i've to slipped out a few times to pee and to cigarettes with my hubby ~ not to mention it was so boring, for someone who hasn't involved like me and for my hubby who don even hav a clue of wat's goin on, it was as torture. He has to pay RM50 for the entrance fee and he thinks its a waste of money and time!!!!!!! We were schedule to leave at 6pm but ended at 8pm, ok ... I don blame them and most importantly, when we arrive S'pore it was already 2.00am in the morning. My hubby was sososossososososo pissed off!!!! and we had our arguement, and I was lucky he's still talking to me today!!!]

What im trying to say is.. they are targetting teens or youngster like me who are naive and think that money drop from the sky. It's not impossible u see, juz that the way they ask me for the membership fees and not listening to wat I'm trying to tell them that I'm a total helpless student, althou married but my husband's salary is just enough to feed us for a month. (Ya.. we survive on instant noodle and pipe water) they are not considerate about ur situation. and calling themselves tryin to help???? cmon, if u're trying to help, why not target those rich ppl / at least sponsor half of my subcription fees???????

Btw, i'm thinking of quitting once my upline come back. I'm gonna tell her I don wana get involved, and it doesn't matter if she said the 400 is not refundable. I juz wanna finish my special promo spa treatment and make an end to this! Thus, I don hav any other time to waste. I wan to spare time with my hubby and studies. Is this possible? I hav signed the application form, and gave her RM400, and I've also signed for the spa treatment package, can I back off now? I need to know.. thankx

Hello and very good day to you, I am new to this LB things... I just
joined this crap for a couple of weeks, but as time goes by i can feel
something amiss in the company. When I started went to their events, I
feel like I was in a concert not a professional or formal event
although it's compulsory to wear a formal attire. Then yesterday I
asked one of my marquis challenger, "What will happen if my downline
do not search for ppl to be their downline?". He answer something that
out of question, but I asked him again the same question. He answered
that I will not get anything. It's mean that I will get something if
and only if my freaking network is expanded. So from my point of view
as a muslim, the money that I got is not right and it is illegal
because of the pyramid scheme.

I have use one of the lamp and the oil, so how do I act to get my refund?

But in this Lampe Berger business run by DCHL/RZ Corporation/Steven Yeam
Network, it is to me UNETHICAL and therefore my advice is, think twice before joining.

On the matter of whether it is illegal or not for Muslims to earn from this "pyramid scheme"
it is not me to judge, but it is for all you Muslim people out there to judge it for yourself.
You know your religion better than me. Be it "Hadhari" or not. I will not touch on that.

DCHL KUCHING SCAM!!

This reader sent me the mail about DCHL in Kuching. Yes, they are all over the
map in Malaysia. I bet they would use the word "poor" to make these people who is
indeed not so rich to gain riches by "investing" in DCHL.

Read on, it is going to be a very long e-mail.

Dear Sir,

I wish to tell you my story of DCHL Kuching Sarawak. I almost got cheated by these people (who called them self Marquis Faizal) and all of his underlings for giving me false information regarding their company.

DCHL was introduced by my long time schoolmate. She informed me that I can make money without breaking a sweat by helping people.

My friend asked me to go have dinner with DCHL members to see how their life have change.

So, I followed my friends to have dinner with DCHL members. All seems happy with their life. Their introduce me to other people. Then I started talking with the DCHL members.

They told me that they earn twice the income they earn each month compare working with a company.

Then I asked them couple of questions.

1. Do I have to sell products?
They said we do investment. Not selling products. I become more interested with the investment plan.

2. Do I have to recruit people in order for me to make money?
They said, we dont find people. We help people who really needs it.

3. How much money do I need to invest? They said RM2,500.00.

4. Do I get my investment back? They said yes, you do get your investment back.

5. If my uncle want to join and put RM 2,500.00 and doesnt want to find people. Will he still receive money? They DCHL members said, he will get RM200 per month.

I was so happy and I wanted to join so I can help myself and my friends who needs it.

Then one of my friend told me to becareful and advice me to call KL branch.

When I called KL branch about it and ask them about the investment. They told me there is no such thing. I was suprise by it that it is not an investment company. I was quite shock.

Then I told them why I was informed that it is an investment at the first place. They told me that DCHL is involved in direct selling and members earn from the commission on the product that they have sold.

I asked them, what about the RM 2,500.00?!?!?

The DCHL KL hotline said, the RM 2,500 include registration fee and the product number from 1 - 6, which cost more than RM 2,000.00.

I was quite furious with the false information that DCHL Kuching members has given me.

I decided to go to main office to investigate more. I was educated by one of the qualified members about the investment.

I took couple of minutes to explain everything. Things started to go from bad to worst when it comes to registration fee. He asked me to join as soon as possible. I said I can get my money at the end of the month. The members convience me to borrow money from friends and told me not to told them about the business?!?!?

Then later he told me that I can make more money by becoming a count as soon as possible in order not be taken over by people who is under me and I will not lose my profit. He told me that being a count is better than being a baron. He told me that I have to invest RM 40,000.00 as soon as possible.

Then, I asked him again who sold the product? He told me that DCHL dont do direct selling but investment. He also told me that DCHL Kuching has their own marketing plan and doesnt follow KL marketing plan. DCHL Kuching is independant and doesnt rely on KL. This was told to me by many marquises in Kuching (Lady own a skyline and a guy (Faizal) who own a celica).

Later I found out that there is alot of victims (most of them students) occur in UNIMAS (University of Sarawak).

A housemate of mine told me his friend (Marquis) run away from Kuching and stay in KL due to people looking for him leaving his parents behind to settle his problems.

Please help me to put stop into this. One of my friend has spent RM40,000+ using her parents money, which come from their saving retirement money. She tought it is an investment. I tried to tell her about it but refuse to believe me.

I realise that DCHL members relies on registration money and also RM 40,000 investment on becoming a count status.

PLEASE!! PUT A STOP INTO THIS!!!

Early of the year, I've already received e-mail from people in distress pertaining to
DCHL/Lampe Berger/SYN. Up to date in January, I've received FIVE e-mails, each
with their own side of story to tell. Whether it is true, it is up to you all to just.

I hope all these e-mails would serve as an alternative point of view towards this so
called "investment" business. Many in the comments as "anonymous" condemns my
blog here for defamation and also how much I am tarnishing their business' name.
Well.. my anonymous friends out there who condemns my work here. Please have
an open mind when you read this blog. I don't totally say this business doesn't work.
I am just outreaching to the people out there to know how unethical a few many of
DCHL/Lampe Berger/SYN distributor could be just to lure anyone into the business
to be rich which I think it is just SELFISH.
Don't give me the bullshit of "helping others to be successful"!
Companies out there, thousands of them are also helping others to be successful..!

My brother-in-law is currently so into this SYN/LB thingy. He made his wife
quit work to concentrate on this business (well, it's kinda ok coz the wife
is earning less than (rm2K, so at least she's not giving up a 'career'). I
do think it all works well for people who sacrifices like crazy in order to
get the-promised-$$$.

However, what I see is that the so-called business is marred by a lot of
deceptions. And I echo your comments on this SYN/LB is not a business. It
is a recruitment agency more-like-it. I noticed that when people join this
network, they all speak the same, act the same. For instance:
My brother-in-law was willing to get a personal loan of RM17K for a
Honda Odyssey downpayment. He came to us to borrow that amount of
money and when we asked 3 reasons why he needs a Honda Odyssey vs
Naza Ria for his growing family, the following are the reasons he gave us:
We need to buy this super luxury car in order to lure prospects to
believe that they can achieve their dreams in a matter of 3 months (I
think if your dream is just big and fast cars, you're truly pathetic)
We need this car to show-off our 'success'
We need this car because we're gonna have our 4th kid
I think out of all the 3 reasons, only the final reason is valid
eventhough you can achieve it by getting a much cheaper MPV.....I don't
know.
They say in order to make money, you've got to invest first.....but
RM30+K? He actually downed all of his hard-earned money in total belief
that he could retire when he's 40 (he's currently 35). They never tried
to convince us to join (we're professionals and proud of it: I'm a
software engineer and my hubby a doctor) and we totally believe that we
can achieve financial freedom by 45, not super rich......but financially
free. I think these are the people who get lured into this trap by greed
(on their part) and promises and hope (on SYN/LB part)
My brother-in-law's wife gave birth and her upline came to her house to
visit. At the end of the visit, she asked her when she's able to start
again.....for Pete's sake, she has just given birth! All they live by is
their business and nothing else. Is this called financially free?
They started boasting like they have all the money in the world. But
when I suggested that we could do 'aqiqah' (an Islamic practice) for my
daughter (I just got my newborn as well) and their son together. They
said, wait. They've got other things to do. It's just so strange....if
they have all the money in the world, the cost for aqiqah and kenduri
shouldn't be much of a problem, right?

I don't think all MLM is a scam, but this looks like one. The reason I am
saying that it is a scam is because they swear by the products but don't
even sell their products. The 'business' evolves around 'selling' dreams.
For the sake of my brother-in-law and his growing family, I would pray
that the economy booms at least of the next few years, because all it needs
is for ONE economy crisis and there goes their business......coz who is
willing to scrape the barrel to invest in lampu burger?

I wish all those who believe in this dream luck....coz that's all they need
to sustain themselves in the la-la land (land of glory?....NOT!)

Wrong Perception on Lampe Berger Help

Many people who are pro-SYN/DCHL/Lampe Berger has got my blog wrong.

More or less, they are saying that I label their Multi Level Marketing (MLM)
"business" a scam. Look, what I mean by scam is

1) They unethical way you are running the whole "business" by merely asking
people to join but not to sell. Simple words, you put recruitment as your source
of income, but not selling. (Don't give me the bull of selling dreams and freedom)

2) The many people who got "cheated" in a way that this whole "business" thing
can work. But in actual fact, it is a "business" of recruitment instead of selling.

3) I guess, this blog of mine, and me being a "victim" of this kind of "scam" has
helped many, if not, a whole lot of people to really realize things they might face
from all these SYN/DCHL/Lampe Berger "business"

To me, what I am doing is "noble". ;) I'm helping others to understand MLM
By understanding MLM, one can thus decide whether he/she wants to go ahead
and pursue it as a "business" or "career".

To pro-SYN/DCHL/Lampe Berger peeps. Inevitably, no matter what I write here
your business is still booming, I guess. SYN just held their 7th International
Members Exchange here in Malaysia on the weekend of 7th September 2007.

Congrats goes to many who has garnered success and earn a living out of it.
But for how long?

Thing happen 2 years ago,the lady said just ask my brother to sign the form as a member using my brother name but she use her own money to buy the product and member fee because she want to get point.My brother just follow want she need and do it for her.
After 1 month, she come and look for my brother and asked for money.My brother so suprise why he need to RM2000++ for the product and the member fee? she said he signed the form mean agree to become a member and take all the product, and my brother just fresh school how come got alot money to pay for it.

The lady said if he don't want to pay for it, she give 2 choices for my brother, 1 is ask 1 guy to hit him or she slap my brother gace in front of alot people to settle it.My brother is a very easy coward person, he want to settle it faster then call many friends borrow money from them to settle it.
before for that he tried to go the lady company to ask for cancel, but she was there and tell the other manager don't let him cancel and must pay for it because she help company earn alot money and company must help her back.
My brother tried to find other brances of lampe berger copmpany and tell them what happen.They said the lady doing business is like that, because they are not the same brance, they can't do anything.

Like Samantha88, my Ex is also involved in this MLM Biz - OuestNet to be exact. Yeap! He, too, changed from nice guy I once knew to someone I no longer respect. He even accused me for being untrustworthy because I refused to stand by him and join QI! He ended our relationship for another girl because she is also in the Biz but I know too well he is just cheating himself from his own behaviours. Well, I don mind coz the girl is a ... (wild type) and perhaps he deserved a girl like that as he ain't so good himself now!

He even said his family members all 'ganged up' on him because they ADVICED him to leave the Biz which he never did even when the Dato' was arrested! Gosh! How can one even say that about his own family who love him so much?! I really feel sad and sorry for Uncle and Aunty. I tried too but he won't listen to me too. So sorry! I pity him too ....

What scares me the most now is that they use "religious teaching' and quotes from the Bible (no offence to Christianity, please!)to brainwash people!! All religions are GOOD but this is misused of people's faith and i hope good Christians or any religion followers, please oh please stood up and clear your religion's name. These people seem to behave like a CULT now!! In some of their meetings, they call each other brothers and sisters and their 'faith' and trust for their leaders are as strong as one's trust for their preachers, pastors or fathers!

They blamed and accused the media for 'lying' about the arrest of their leaders too! The press can't simply publish without truth! But they are all blinded by all the beautiful promises by their leaders and also the images they've painted in their dream. I even saw many of them quitting their highly paid and stable jobs to do this Biz fulltime. Gee... is it really that different from working with a company? Isn't it the same as these people are also doing the 'selling' and 'recruiting' of people (downlines) for a company too, only that they don't have to go to a office because there isn't any?

Although I am not against MLM and how one gets rich but please do your Biz with good ethics and high morales. I pray that God will help these people see the harm and hurt they have caused to they loved one. May God forgive these cheaters and family breakers. You can dream and make a better future without sacrifying relationships with your family and friends.

If anyone have a solution to help these people, please generously share with us here who desperately trying to 'save' those we love. Thank you in advance.

Over the past few weeks, I have been receiving e-mails on how to refund
their membership and products and claim back whatever that is left behind.

Received an e-mail from a frustrated Lampe Berger member. Read:

I am once an LB member...and sad to say I still am, although I haven't go to the office for nearly 10 months now. I've also been thinking about refunding all my products coz I'm having a hell time paying all my loans.

At first I asked my upline about how to refund. bad move. said that altho I refund, i had to pay for all the commissions that I've received during my countship. and they dun even consult me on what I'm purchasing...now I've realized that half of my products are unreturnable....

now I am working...(I was an undergrad student when I was sought out to join LB)...and I am really annoyed that more than half of my salary goes to pay my loan...instead of getting myself my own car....

My parents constantly reminding me of my loans and bugging me to pay them (they come to my house to persuade my folks to invest in the 30K scheme) coz I borrowed money from relative and have to pay them....I am being tortured enuf by my parents about this mistake.

please help me get my money back (refund)...

when I said about my upline not consulting what I bought, I did check the list again and asked about those unreturnable products, they told me that it is neccessary to buy them coz its easier when distributing it to my "downline".

LB Help: Its a trick and excuse to get you blinded over the terms & conditions that you never read propoerly.

Think Before You Join DCHL/LB/SYN/RZ..etc

That's my only wise words to you all out there..
It all depends on what path you want to choose in your life..

If you are not afraid of losing friends, losing hope, breaking down most
of the time when you just can't sell "dreams", recruits or sell the LB
products, then think again of joining the DCHL/LB/SYN or any other
MLM industry similar to Lampe Berger.

When I say similar, it means, "investing" a large amount of money from
either RM 2,500 till RM 30,000 ++ to purchase a the products and
then retail it back to friends and families by either selling it to them or
bringing them into the business just like you.

Let Mr. Donovan tell you more on what he thinks.

I came across your blog by chance and I truly admire that someone like you
is really not afraid to speak up your mind for what is right to the society.
What I am about to write, I hope you will post it on your blog for other
readers to read.

One of my friend who is an LB member brought me to his company annual dinner
at Sunway Hotel, and that is when I get to know about Lampe Berger. Many of
their members seem so friendly with me.. but for what purpose? To persuade
me to pay them money to join their LB scheme of course. One of their top
'convincer' talked to me and said things like "you join our business, this
is like a gift for your girlfriend. You earn more money to make your
girlfriend happy". Smart talk right? I was almost pulled

At first I was almost convinced to join Lampe Berger since they keep telling
me stories about how some of their members become succesful and earn 6-digit
salaries by joining Lampe Berger. I argued with my father to give me RM2.5k
to join, but luckily he was stubborn. I want to have money, and everyone
does... that's why there are some people who are still blinded by these LB
scheme.

After a long and hard thinking for a few days, I came up with my own
conclusion which I warned to some of my friends, and it's effective. You
see... Lampe Berger is not really a scam, but an unethical scheme. You CAN
earn lots of money by investing RM2.5k or RM30k into the business. But at
what cost?

Do the people who join Lampe Berger ever think about who are they going to
invite into this scheme? Obviously the best people they can invite to join
them are FRIENDS who trust them. You don't go around and simply ask
strangers to give you RM2.5k rite?
But what happens if your friend invested in RM2.5k but they didn't make it?
They start to blame you... they start losing their trust in you.. they avoid
themselves from you and so are your other friends. Yeah sure, go ahead and
earn money by asking your FRIENDS to join and get them into trouble. If you
want to make money and lose your friends and your reputation, then Lampe
berger is the best scheme for you. If money is more important than your
friends, then join the LB scheme. Go ahead and join... and see yourself
struggle to earn money by cutting down your number of friends. Because of
your greed for money, YOU GIVE UP YOUR FRIENDSHIP, which cannot be bought
back with the money you made from your unethical scheme.

I have seen some people who persuade their friends to join MLM (not only
Lampe Berger). I don't see them having so much friends around them. But in
the end after they quit their MLM, they realize how stupid they are to join
MLM at first place. My friend who tried persuading me to join LB was very
friendly, treated me nicely, spend money on me, and was close to me. After
knowing that I will not invest a single cent in his business, he stopped
seeing me.

I'm sure alot of you have heard countlessly from LB members, saying that
"you pay RM2.5k, if you never work hard, you'll lose money. If you work
hard, you will be very succesful and earn alot of money". Yeah that's true
what they said... but did you ever consider that by 'working hard' means
troubling your friends and make them lose money for the sake of your profit?
If you and your friend suceed, then bravo... but just remember that MLM is
not for everyone, and when there are some people who suceed, there are
others who fail.

In conclusion, LB is not just a 'morality scam', but also an unethical way
of doing business. Please take my advice and don't lose yourself by joining
Lampe Berger. The reason why i decided to post this is so that my friends
and you (readers) think harder before you join in ANY MLM scheme. Think of
your loved ones.

This sister came to me seeking help. I gave my wise advise, and thus now
again, I receive an e-mail from her just last week.

So, nothing more shall I speak off but to let you guys read..

it's me again.. i'm mad, confused and very frustated with my sister behaviour. I made her to promise to stop for a while thinking about the scheme until she has finished her final exam. Yes, she had promised me. But, suddenly after few days she rang my aunt asking to borrow 1K.. She has broke her promise to me.. Then my aunt got worried.. tell my mom. My mom advised her to discuss the matter with my father after she had finished her final exam. My mom even asked her to do a proper paperwork if she really wants the 36k from my father. (Well, to involve in business.. you should have a paperwork right?). She promised again to put aside for a while about this 'lamp' thing until she finished her final exam. But, again she broke her promise, willingly to go back home in the middle of the exam week.. to ask my father for 36k!! My father refused to gave her. But she insist.. at least give her 5K. You see.. how determine she is to involve with the 'lamp'?? I really don't understand. The introducer of this DCHL is friend of my brother. He said 36K is optional. But, seeing my sister behaviour, it tells you the other way. I have no more ideas how to stop her. What scaring me is if she persuade her friend, which is our neighbour, to join as well.. I'm very scared now.. I'm afraid that her friend's family will be our enemy just because of this silly thing. My father had made her to choose between her studies and the 'lamp'. She chose her studies.. but I hardly want to believe her after she broke her promises to me.
I did asked my sister to read all the blogs about DCHL,Lampeberger scam.. etc.. however all those writings in the blogs did not even a little to make her think again and stop joining. I just don't know what else to do... Pls.. if you can just help me.......

Who teaches the younger sister to borrow money from her aunty?
Who will motivate the younger sister to do so?
Who is teaching her to be so aggressive in search for money while
she is still studying and looking forward to a bright future?

These are the young and innocent people who just left high school and
started pursuing their dreams from college/university life.
Why must they be treated like that and in the end, who will suffer.

What we all want to know is WHY? E-mail sent to SC to ask for

We have recently saved an innocent soul from getting lured into
DCHL/Lampe Berger/SYN's business plan. This girl wrote a very
SUPER LONG e-mail to LB Help seeking help and advise on the
whole truth about Lampe Berger.

Absurd of Ms. X's first email to LB Help.

Until that part, I was impressed (although I didn't know her previously). On the first day of our conversation, she invited me to "her office", but I couldn't make it. So I went with her just yesterday, after work. Before that, we had lunch together and she explains to me about the business she was in. Starting from the history (all the insurance, food and water filter industry covered) and the McDonald's and everything (people who had been to LB meetings should know this) bla bla bla. The part that she always stress on is how her parents raised her, how her mother did rubber tapping to support her schooling, her father is a carpenter, and they are very poor. When she started this business, she invest 30k, and she get 100k in 2 months. She bought her mother a ring worth RM4k and her mother cried. OMG, I was really impressed.

During the lunch she asked me how much would I invest. I told her I have RM5k savings. She then came out with a story of her colleague in LB, 2 sisters who took personal loans to get RM30k. She didnt actually tell me on her marketing plan first. She just tell me stories about her success, and her colleague, and her husband's and her brother's.. To my surprise, I truly believe her. I never joined any MLM before, even my bestfriend approach me to join her in Amway and Zhulian etc etc. I'm really not into any MLM business. I don't like chasing people to join me, or persuading and convincing people to buy things. Just not my type. I never heard of LB before, but I've seen the advert board each time I drove to my office.

Then, A asked me when is the fastest that I can get the money to invest? Whoaaaa...now now, I havent said anything to her yet. I just told her than it's interesting. She told me that she invest 30k and straight away hold a high position (count?). She actually insist me on investing RM30k, my goodness! I told her I dont have a RM30k, my savings all gone. Then she asked me to fork out all my left over savings (RM5k). I already told her that it was for my rainy day, but she said i can surely get back my capital (RM5k) plus my commission in a few months. Her husband infact, made 300% commission within 6 months.

I told her i couldn't do that. Then she said, at least give her RM2700 to allow her to give me the franchisee license so that I could attend their training and everything. RM2700 is also a big amount for me as I have so many things to pay for. I told her I can't. Then she asked me to prepare RM250 by the end of the day to enable myself to join a meeting (or something like that) in a hotel this weekend. I didn't said yes to her, but I agreed to follow her to her "office" in menara HLA, without knowing that actually who goes there means that they have agreed to join.

I went there after work with A, she introduced me to her older brother, who looks like a very shy guy (he's a book worm, I can tell by his face). Then he started to talk, exactly the same thing A has told me. They convince me on how they wanted to open more market to Bumiputra (I'm Malay by the way) and sort of. Its getting late and more people coming in, its a full house. She told me about a UPM student who is making RM50k per month. I asked myself, how they did this actually.

After her brother had explain to me on the marketing plan whatsoever, she asked me if I have RM250 with me. I said yes, because I planned to pay my credit card that eve. She asked me to hand over the money to her in order for the to register me. I took the RM250, and gave to her. OMG. I think it comes with the feeling, I don't want to actually embarassed myself infront of her brother and many friends and many other people. Shit, they were all there to join, how come I could rejected it?

The way how they persuade and impress people into the business
never changed from Day 1. Hmm.. A never mentioned about how
Steven Yeam came from little Klang and ventured into Hong Kong?

Ms. X actually went to the office and paid up RM 250 after so much
persuasion by A. To us, it is just the feeling and we all do thing following

So, it has been a while since i last blogged about Lampe Berger.

But I need to share one piece of news here with you.
With how these people in Digital Crown Holdings Limited (DCHL)
are running the MLM is totally ruining the life of many. Many whom
are young and innocent. Many who do not know anything about money
management and the risk of taking loan.

I received one email today by this lady questioning me the rationality
of all the investment and what-not. She was SHOCK! READ ON

Hi,
Actually I'm in shock because of my younger sister has just asking me for a loan of 36K to 'invest' in DCHL.
She has already 'invest' 2.5K (she is supposed the 'franchisee' now.. right?) and she got lampeberger stuff as her free gift.. she said. But when I check the DCHL website, to be a franchisee.. you have to sell or use the product up to 2.5K and it is not a free gift. But in her case, you pay 2.5K, get the lampberger product as free stuff. Don't you think it is little bit weird here?
After 3 days joining as franchisee level, she asking the whole family for a loan of 36K. She even suggest me to make a personal loan with the bank for her.. I believe the level that she wants is the 'Count'.
I don't know much about DCHL, and this is the first time I ever heard about it. And.. the first time I heard you need 36K to enter MLM. She and her group concept.. get more people to 'invest'..the much the better... is this what DCHL really promotes? Please.. I need an explanation... and please reply a.s.a.p..

I'm not surprise how shocked can she be. With her sister asking her
RM 36K is like asking for her life. I pity them. But why? This have
to be brought to many others, do not let your love ones fall into all
these. Investing RM 36K and wat about the returns?
What about the damage which will be made later on?

One friend i've known through this blog is asking for my help
to help her return 2 TWO! signature lamps when she invested
as Count. HOW la? I told her put it on e-bay on slashed price and
pray that they will sell.

She wrote to me because this blog is pretty much exposed outside in
the world wide web (WWW) aka Internet. Do a search of anything on
Steven Yeam Network (SYN), DCHL, Lampe Berger + scam, cheat, etc..
AND
You will end up having my blog in top 10 or top 20. Which is really good.

if u research more in SYN, you'll know more dirty secret what SYN had done to hong kong MLM industry.

My say would be, yes they are the same. DCHL acquired the license from
Lampe Berger, while Lampe Berger grants the license. So they are the same.

It it is widely known that most of the bunch that scams, cheat
and lied are from Steven Yeam Network (SYN).
In Malaysia, LB is operated under the umbrella of RZ Corporation.

RZ Corporation is under the Malaysian Direct Distributors Association (MDDA).

I guess, they are not as what they said " Ethical, Responsive, Excellence"

If RZ Corporation takes more care in their member's doing!
If DCHL/Lampe Berger does more investigation on what's going on..!
The situation would be a lot more different.

And for those people who fail, ask yourself, have you put the effort to actually learn how the things work 1st before starting to find people? Did you fail or did you GIVE UP? Ask yourself and answer honestly 1st before pointing at the business and say people can't make it. And remember the saying because of 1 tree(the uplines or whatever) the whole forest gets the flame.

And for the retailing part, why not try looking in a business point of view. If they retail in Asian countries, do you think they will have a good sales? This network marketing concept is created for Asian countries(which are obviously has lesser rich people) to make people earn money and buy their products. And guess what, the 11 asian countries which runs this concept contributes 90% of the sales for DCHL. And more western countries are starting to switch their methods to Network Marketing and it get more sales profit.

I agree in looking in a business point of view. But why sell something that not many average Malaysian can afford it and furthermore, that many people knows that this company selling THIS product is more like a scam.?
Western countries switching to MLM? It is a matter of time. But I won't be seeing that to happen real soon in 10 years..

And come to the Hong Kong part, if Lampe Berger is proven lies, why is everybody still accepting it? Simple answer, because people are close minded enough not to accept new concept of business, like how people are against insurance 20 years back. By the way, DCHL is going up the Hong Kong stock market soon. Do you think DCHL can actually LIE to the government? They have headquaters in 11 countries(Asia) man. Including Japan, Taiwan, HK, etc.

Have you heard of the word "Corruptions"? I guess, every country's govt. face this "problem". And a LIE can be covered by it...
There can only be one headquarters my friend. I also can set-up like them and run the same way of business like them.What's the big deal? Only thing is that I don't scam people, I don't look down on people

Lampe Berger is proven to be harmful to women? Well, get this, Lampe Berger offer 10 MILLION euros gurantees to the product, and after 109 years of existence, NO ONE has claimed that money till today. AND, hospitals in France (LB is a France brand for your information) uses LB as bacteria filter.

Prove your product. Show it. I myself can't confirm on that. But if you can prove it is harmless. Case Close. :)

Lampe Berger does not lie as its a BRAND of a PRODUCT, and its ONE of the PRODUCT which DCHL is distributing.

Why not everyone go to DCHL headquaters to fully understand how to see Network Marketing in the BUSINESS point of view instead of closing your minds, not accepting it and starts talking like you know everything?

I know everything because, I've seen it with my own eyes. I've gone where most people haven't gone to and I've known more than enough to call this whole thing "money sucking company" and " human scamming company"

Do you know that you actually have to study Network Marketing in colleges to do the business in Japan? Do you know that the 9th Malaysian Plan actually includes Network Marketing to boost the economy? And DCHL is actually the No. 1 in the list? No? Well, people, start UNDERSTAND things before crapping like you know everything.
Haven't you even heard that people in Japan runs their MLM business with ethics?

Look at how they were asking for money from their recruit, after the
recruit quit and it was the uplines who were saying, they can cover for
this new recruit, but things turns ugly when the new recruit QUITS..

This is the case of mine : i join LB last year SEPT.. it was a BIG MISTAKE i ever did as i was being frequently pyscho by my upline who is Mr.J and Miss.C . they keep pushing me until one day i cannot tahan and i agreed to join LB. the problem is i told them i had no money, imaging : RM2345 from a college student ( where can they get this huge amount of money, other than borrow from friends or family?) in the end, they ask me to join 1st and they SO CALLED dont mind PAY BACK to them later when i start to earn back.

Sincerely, after i joined.. calls keep coming in, asking me to do this and that, follow up and down, and what so called COME OUT and MEET OUR top earners and know more friends....... i really sick of it as i couldnt cope with my studies since ever after i join LB. my housemate even ask everytime before i go out :" go sell BOMB again ar? " SELL BOMB (i agreed after i regretted for not listening my friends and family advice)

One day after 1 year i keep avoiding my upline cause i really feel very FAN of them... they purposely drove far down to my house and give me a call .

conversation between us :
Mr.J says:" Jxxxx here, i already infront of ur house, u better pay us the remain money, else we going to meet up your parents ! "

I says :" not i dont want to pay, but i dont have so much money at the moment " , " i already SMS to Miss.C said that i will settle the amount by next month. (THE SMS that i sent was this:" I on meeting now. Talk much also no point, u will say i owe u.really REGRET to join LB.Pls stop callin,thanks.Gv me ur bank account number, wil pay u bck by year end.Thanks for making my life miserable.")

Miss.C(was just beside Mr.J) says :" tell him dont SIN KA LAN la, i never receive his SMS !!! "

Mr.J says:" do u want me to tell or meet your parents onot?" (keep repeat)

after a few minutes, i send a SMS telling them to give me their Bank Acc number so that i can bank in the money to them. and a SMS replied by them : " Maybank xxxx-xxxx-xxxx(Cxxxxx Lx Kxxx). bank in RM2000 by MONDAY, else i will take action! "

that time i was at outstation. The night when i bck and i check my house letter box. this is the paper i found ....................not just 1, but 2 paper for each letter box, not just that and also in 2 version of language.. WOW =.= i guess they are really desperate for getting back money in such a AH LONG ways.

And YES!! LAMPE BERGER HELP IS BACK FROM HIBERNATION!!!

When you mention a CC to the both ministry, please send it to them, do not
just "cakap kosong" (empty talk) just like the network itself (Steven Yeam Network)

This article which was written by him (Dean Van Druff) is a great article that looks into the four primary area of Multi-Level Marketing.

My verdict would be that, Dean Van Druff has written this article with his heart.
He feels the MLM way and his article is a must read for all citizen from every walks of life.
Truly a MASTERPIECE..

One sentence I mean, verdict that we could use to reply to those who are in the MLM is this:

The basic question that needs to be asked is this: If this product or service is so great, then why isn't it being sold through the customary marketing system that has served human society for thousands of years? A what is he doing there in Singapore.. he only said

Still looking for the official brochure on it...

why? the event itself cost 2.5 million. Estimated of 9 million would be spent in Singapore on that day itself. there are plans that Louis Vuitton Boutique will be closed for a day to cater for these people.

Extorting money from Lampe Berger is nothing new. Throuhgout their 100 yeras many people have tried to bring them down and time has proven who is right and who is wrong.

1st of all,i hope u can post it out so that other ppl won't get con into this biz.

Here are my story.

I'm jordan,male from Johor. But currently study in local Uni at K.L.
(Name changed to keep privacy)

Last year September,i forgot the date alr,i get to know my upline,a girl,i won't mention her name. That time i was doing a part-time in a shopping centre as a waiter. On that day,i was working like usual, then she came to buy drinks from me and start to approach me,asking me this and that,want to take my FORMHD. At that time,how would i know she's that kind of person,so i just told her where i'm from,study at where, age.....After that,she began to show her fox's tail. She starts asking me whether do i want to earn more money, say want to intro me a part-time job,some kind related to SPA job! Huh....i dunno how to massage woh,then she said no need to know that skill. Then she ask for my number,i didn't suspect a lot so i gave her. That was when the nightmare begin....

Few days later,she called me,she asked me out for interview,she said. So without hesitation, i went out,we met at a place. After met her,she told me to get on her car. Without hesitation also, i got on her car,i asked her where will we go???then she said to K.L!!! Hell ya,i was frightened!!!Just an interview only,why need to go K.L???i asked her,but she told me the company was at K.L.i thought we just have a drink at any nearest mamak stall,she said not suitable to talk at mamak stall...

then i got no point since i was on her car,so i just follow her to the D.C.H.L company at K.L. on the way to K.L,she show me her biz card,on the card it didn't mention about L.B or either E.B. just wrote SYN biz centre....at that time,i never heard bout any SYN thingy,so i was curious,and since in her car alr...so follow her to the company loh!!!

After reach there,she parked her car at menara HLA underground parking lot. there's a lot of luxury car at the parking lot,i was like dumbfounded at that time when she tell me those were her partner's car. all very young,in their 20's only!
at that time i know it was direct selling alr,but i didn't know that by selling things can drive such a luxury car.

After got off from the car,she began her 5 STARS introducing. After finish walking 5 STARS,she began to talk bout the marketing plan,i was not quite remember bout the things she told me. i can only remember she used to call a lot her so called "partner" to do sharing with me. at that time i was like brainwash by them. i begin to believe that this biz really can earn a lot. summore they all say we will help u,no need to worry!!!so much promise they gave...

i dunno y,at that time,for the first time,i borrow money from my friend.they told me to borrow money from friends since they know i'm still a student. so i manage to borrow from my friends,i was very happy at that time cause i think i can earn big money since they said so.hell ya,the money until now i still can't afford to pay back to my friends!!!i was such a fool to believe in them!

the story haven't finish yet,after the 3rd day i joined,she began to take me to a talk called "why 38%". at that time i was fully put my trust on her,so i do what she said!!!

hell ya,after the talk,30K!!!!30K!!!!that was what all behind!!!
at that time,i don't have time to process all the things i heard,she took me to sharing with their so called "partner" again,brainwashing me to dumped in 30k,she began to tell me how this and that guy got their 30k,they can,u also can,she said!!!

at that time,i haven't attend NDO yet. so she told me not to think bout the 30k 1st,after NDO we'll discuss bout it. At that time my mind was all manipulate by her.

After hearing NDO,i was so excited. so confidence!!! this's their tactics!!! keep brainwashing you. i went back to ask 30k from my mom. I was so regret now!!!
for 3 months more i keep asking money from my mom and they keep brainwashing me,told me not to give up!!!!

Eventually i got the 30k,for ur information,i came from a poor family,my mom refinance our low cost house for that 30k,but i didn't know that time. i was a hell son to ask money from my mom. but at that time i was manipulated by them,so i didn't have that feel,all i know was i want 30k to start this biz!!!

i was so regret!!!!i skipped some of the story. Write it in next part.

now what i felt was i was so sick of them. at first i wont feel like that.u know wat she tell me after she know i quit???of course i didn't mention with her i'm going to quit cause i scare she'll like other upline who don't give their downline to refund!!!

Untold Story of My Friend Being Cheated

This is indeed a true story, which I heard from my friend's mouth.
I was at this club, and I saw this girl of whom I am really familiar with.

It is indeed, a friend I knew back in college and when I joined this business
of DCHL/Lampe Berger/SYN. She is one great friend to have and a friend
whom you can lay your trust on. But she was being used by this idiot to
invest in the business of DCHL/Lampe Berger/SYN.

When I meet someone I knew, even if I knew him/her for a "hi" or "bye"
I would approach and talk and keep up...

Some personal questions about each others' life has lead to her asking
me if I am still in the Lampe Berger business... It is a long story from then
onwards. She was not suprise I stopped this business... Her story was:

She was really interested in the business when that idiot introduce to
her the business... She is one sociaholic and was busy...
But in the end, she got that RM 2,500 and pass it to her... The idiot
told her to rest assured as he will register her into the business.

There was limited news after she handed in the money to him.
She got friends who are in the business as well, and she checked with
the company and found out that, he never enrolled her as promised!
She was SOOOO PISSSEDD on the news she not being enrolled...
(lucky thing she is not on period, else DCHL/SYN would be history now)

*When I heard it.. I was like... that bastard!! What a CON!!*

She then went up straight to the office and find him and demand
that idiot to pay her back, as they didn't expect her to be in that state
of mind to go directly to them right in their face and make such demand.
So did he promised.. promise again..
It took that fella few months and promises after promises to pay her back.

I had a chat with her earlier in the evening and told her my situation
and she said "Hey, that's how I was being treated as well!"

Now this is pure UNETHICAL Steven Yeam Network distributor
that I came to know in shock..

Why am I shock!?? Because that Idiot WAS my UPLINE...!!!

International Member's Exchange & 45K

International Member's Exchange (IME) is an annual event.
IME is an event under the group of Steven Yeam Network (SYN)

Held last year, here at Sunway Pyramid hotel this year the event
will be held in Singapore.

The participation fee for this event is not cheap. So does
all the other event that SYN. Last year it was about RM 500 if
I am not mistaken but this year, the fee itself has gone up to
about RM 1000+. Maybe, this time it includes accommodation and
food and maybe a short day tour around Singapore?

I am sure alot of SYN people are going to Singapore for the IME event

The news is that the investment or so call front-loading to join the
network in the status of COUNT has increased to RM45,000.
Wow..!! That's crazy... If still the youths nowadays still gonna join,
I got no better words to say.

Yes, RM 45K can bring you a whole lot of wealth in future with DCHL.
HOW? Recruitment? or Sales?
What I see, the sales occured mostly are from the members themselve
only at the moment. Seldom external sales.. all internal...

I am seeing that, they will move back to their initial investment plan
of front-loading into the position of BARON which cost a mere
RM 10,000. Which I see, many will go for this position...
I shall not speculate, and see what's coming up next in their next
month's sales and activities.

What I am seeing is that, IME will be used to boost up their recruit.
Young graduates who sees the opportunity to get rich will fall for their
scheme. I just hope this people read the damn bloody fine print in the
RULES AND REGULATION page before signing up.

For the past weeks, Dexter of StopMLMScams has been getting e-mails
from readers to his website pertaining to re-fund matters and investment
which can't be refunded due to certain matters.

It troubles me when I read them, and I wish to bring this out to the
public's notice and please share it with your friends.
They have no-where to go. Even if they go to the company and their
uplines, you think they will offer their utmost assistance?
NO is the answer.

These e-mail has nothing to hide and it is their individual upline's fault
for not being informative.

Hi Dexter,

I need your opinion. i will explain it as simple as possible. My gf invested
30k in LB in the pretext that there is 90% refundable within 6 months if
she decides to quit. Within the 6months, she did decide to quit and she told
her upline A and B They told her she cant have the refund coz most
of her products are promotional products something like above 1k products.
Therefore she just left with the impression that she cant get her money
back anymore, i didnt know any of these because i told her not to get me
invovled but now i only found out from her and 6 months has alreayd
passed but shes still having her stupid products. Any advise besides having
to go all those you've mentioned abt running up their office and create

First of all, I would like to apologize if I get your name wrong, i saw it at the
stopmlmscams blog and the entries are posted up by you. Anyway, to the blog
owner, thanks for setting up the blog to create awareness to the public or at
least show the 'true colors' of the 'get rich fast' MLM scheme by DCHL. =)
Btw, i came across your entry of the ways to get your refund back on your
blog and your suggestions are to contact the 'top' person of the co and make
a big scene in the office. But, how am I suppose to know who is the 'top'
person in the group? I thought of going straight to the counters and ask is
there any person in charge for me to see in order for me to get my refund
but i predicted that I will get some silly and stupid excuses from the counters,
with the intention of 'shoo-ing' me away only. Oh ya, for your information,
I am just a franchise. I've spent merely RM2500 and nothing more.
However, I regretted. After I pay the amount of money, i get my stocks only
2-3months later. However, it's my fault too as I did not push my upline for it
as he is my 'good' friend during my uni years and I do not need the products,
so it's fine that I dont get it. I have even told my upline b4 i get my stocks
that, can I don't want the products and get whatever refund that the products
is worth for? doesnt matter even it's RM2000 or RM1800, it's still alright
with me. But sad to say, the answer i get from my upline is that..
THAT IS ONLY APPLICABLE FOR BIG INVESTOR.

when I join? So he started to be very actively contacting me for delivering
the products. Fine with that. So,obviously, after getting the products, i find
that they are of NO USE to me at all!! They are just normal beauty products
that I already have a series of other brands. So, in the end, I still have all of
them in the bag, left UNTOUCHED until today. That's the reason why I
wanted a refund of my money as I get frustrated everytime I see my
RM2000+ lying there in the corner. It has been 5 months since I joined

(besides contacting the 'BIG' fella) to get my money back??
Do you think it'll work if i go straight to the counter? even it's 50%, I don't

you gained from pushing your stocks to your franchisee.

So, so meaning to say that you have RM 27,000 of refund left
from that RM 30,000 you will have back RM 19,965 left.

Hi All,
I do believe that some distributors uses a lot of tactics to
push people into MLMs,however LampeBerger has the most heat on it
because of the high amount of money involved...2k plus-30k plus. In
any case, alot of people do not understand enough or being misled by
certain uplines who are concerned with their own wealth than to
actually do this like a legal business.Stories such as people being
asked to apply for several credit cards(well legalized loan sharks)to
swipe for a 30k count position abound.These uplines used to be in the
credit cards business(the ones in supermarkets and shopping centres
pushing a credit card into ur face) or have people in their
organisations who used to be card-pushers(lol new term?). So, getting
rich is important,in some ways(money can't buy you love,baby,...or
maybe not real love....just can buy you some honey..if u know wad i
mean..) but getting rich by neglecting moral values is the lowest way
to get there. I admit I am a distributor,a Count, but I really despise
these distributors who push people beyond their means to get into a
Count position. If you are with the right mindset and attitude,it will
bring you there. Some people can't afford a Count but borrow to become
one won't last, unless they are really determined and 100% sure they
will succeed. The thing is, no one can guarantee it. If you want to do
it, start small....like everything else since we were born...learn to
walk before you run. Even if it takes you 5-8 years to achieve it...it
is more honorable than to steal your way in.

I was so about to join this scheme after I was invited by a friend to this SYN "Stephen Yeam Network" gathering somewhere in Penang. They explained to me about this "skim cepat kaya" plan. Honestly speaking, I believe that this plan will work, but with a catch, sacrificing a few friends/families relationship, if you know what I mean. So how do you define a person as good friend?
A person who comes to your aid whenever you need them?
A person who will borrow you money when you need it?
A person who calls you out every night for "yum cha"?
A person who introduce you a business and later on tells you he
saved you from a misery of a sad sad life of no money?

Now, introducing a business... did he/she saved you or screwed you?

This piece of e-mail was received by Mr. C and he recently joined
since Feb 2006. Now, his case is VERY SIMILAR with mine...

I was introduced to this MLM company, DCHL selling
Lampe Berger & Estebel products in Feb 2006. I was
invited to its office by my friend of 10years(Phoon).
After listening to their explainations(they reminded
me not to ask other ppl's opinion), i was then invited
for their talk called NDO in PWTC and it cost me RM100
for that session.

Even after the talk, i wasn't so convinced of joining.
However, Phoon kept calling me and even came over to
my house to find me. Before i joined, i asked him
whether the money for a franchisee (RM2350) can be
refunded because i heard from a friend of mine that
it's not refundable. He did asked me to becareful.

However, Phoon assured me that it's refundable and
asked me not to ask other ppl's advices as they don't
know about the business. Sadly, i listened and joined
as franchisee and bought RM2350 of products.
They then asked me to attend talks held in HLA
Building for two weeks. One of the talks even brain
washed us to put in RM30k as investment. Besides that,
one of the talk conducted by Marquis Marcus(a lawyer)
kept saying that by investing RM30k,you'll only lose
RM3k in 6months if u decided to refund. He however
didn't tell all the clauses, he only mentioned that
signature lamps and products worth more than RM1250
can't be refunded.

Without me realizing, i was then approached by a few
uplines who then kept brainwashing me to buy RM30k of
Lampe Berger and Estebel products. They kept telling
me the benefits of becoming a count by investing
RM30k. I told them i don't have so much money and i
wanted to see first whether i can make it. They are so
good and skillful at talking that i'm tricked to
believe that it'll be easy to make money and succeed
in this business by listening to them. They even
helped me to check around for personal loans and
suggested also swiping credit cards. And again, i
succumbed to their persistance and i ended up swiping
my credit cards. They taught me to use my god bro's
name as my downline to buy the products so that i'll
have a count under me.

When i was about to make my purchase, they asked me to
take a signature lamp. However, luckily i didn't take
one as none of the signature lamps which i like is
available.
After a few days, i then realized something is not
right after i sat down quietly in my room to think
over. That few days i didn't go to the office and i
decided i want to refund. However, again i was set up
to meet all my uplines and also Duke Zacc. I was again
persuaded to continue.
After a month, i again felt the company's style of
business is not right and doesn't suit me and there's
something amiss with what the people in DCHL said.
This time i went out to check and i was shocked when i
heard that there are so many anti Lampe Berger
setiments out there. I went to the Chinese Embassy to
check what the speakers said is true or not. The
speakers kept saying that China is a big market and
DCHL already has its presence in China. However, i was
only told by the Chinese Embassy it's not true and
there is no such name called DCHL in China. So i
decided that i won't change my mind and i'm quitting
DCHL for good. Rm3k is a big lesson to be bought but i
want to quit it for good.

My nightmare started when i was told that my
franchisee goods (RM2350) can't be refunded. Besides
that, there are many promotional items and also some
of the lamps i bought are no longer in their sales
list. All these also can't be refunded. All these cost
me about RM11k and i was very furious with my so
called good fren, Phoon. I was given the wrong info
all the time. Had i bought the signature lamp, my
condition would be worse. I believe all those people
in DCHL wanted their downlines to have no option to
refund but being forced to continue.
Currently i don't know what to do and how to reclaim
my money. I'm totally lost. Is there any channel which
can help me get those goods refund as all the stocks
are well kept and not opened. Please help me!!

His post can effectively help you get your re-fund back,
but you may or may not need to use that method, as there are many
other methods to be used.

I remembered I had an ex- boyfriend who is 'working' for Lampe Berger. I did not know he is in this line until we are together. At first I thougt it is alright for him to be in it, jus hoping he wont asked to me to listen those 'rubbish'.

So it does happen later.

For all the time we spend together, is at that office nearby HLA building(next to Wisma Genting) which own by SS. He(SS) says : " 500 dollars worth of shoes only makes my foot painful" , "Shopping in Sungei Wang is so degrading". (So, shopping in Sungei Wang VERY LOW class or NO class lah?), Then he will show off his buys at Louis Vutton and telling us how much he spend on all his stuff, making everyone envy with their eyes and mouth open. He will also tell us those side- line of his driving what cars, how much they are earning, blah, blah ,blah.

The other thing is that he (my ex) brings me around and 'get-to-know' more people . These people who are perpetually brain-washed already, telling me why they join, why they dont study, why they quit their high-paid jobs, why and lots of why.....

In my mind is that since you can make so MUCH money,telling young people not to study also can make so much money, then what are the schools are for? To beautified malaysia? If you were to say this is easy money, how come they are so many members who has yet to be a duke?

My ex-boyfriend at first, spend his money on me(for only short period of time), I thought he is very well -off. Well, in the harsh fact, he is not. He is been in this line for about a year, his family still staying in 1 room flat. He wasnt being able to support himself financially. He could not pay off his car loan, his car insurance, his phone bill and his daily expenses soon become my burden. I have to pay for the food that we ate. Pay for his phone bill and buy things for him. I was so stressful at that point of time. He even asks my mum to fork out 30 k. (go to hell!) Luckily, i did not bother about telling my mother. (partly because i am scare to ask for money..heehee).

I did follow him around. I want to see how he operates his group members. He use 'PUSHING' method. He keeps asking them to go for courses. Some members ganna scolded for not being able to find new members or someone new for appointment.Making all sorts of sacrastic remarks. Some friends of his even got scolded for not being 'smart' enough by not joining SYN group. (ridiculous)

And another way, he knows more people through that E-POP magazine. He advertise himself saying that he want to know more friends. So some too-much-money-to-waste people will just sms him and saying wanting to know him. They will chat for a little. Then he will come to his main intention. He will ask them whether they want to earn big bucks or not? Some suspect. Some trusted him, and willingly to meet him up regardless he's a stranger to them. (we can see that money has a very strong temptation to human beings). They meet at certain place and follow him to that 'office'. Soon, they will tell them to fork up RM2345 to join them. Ask them to borrow from family la, from friends la.... then their appetiate gets bigger... they will say you will earn more if you start from COUNT. shit. This time, you have to give more than 30 thousand near to 40 K! Where the hell are you gonna to borrow this big sum from? Then, those who are count already, will tell you the experience on how they get the money. They says they begged, cried and all the shit SAYING it worth it beacause of your future and your family.They also says that DCHL is a big organisation, wont run away one! You can use that particular member card to go all over the world to do your business. They will exaggerate till you 'WOW' but your pocket still empty.

They even comment that BEL AIR is the imitation of Lampe Berger. Saying their parts of that lamp thing is highly not usable.

I did not join in the end. He gave me all those sacrastic comments. Saying I wont be successful cos i am not one of their members. I cannot earn so much money in my life. (So did you?)

Everyone has their ups and downs. Isnt it safer to have steady income of your own? Rather than this month i earn, next month i dont?

Luckily i was not in. Not interested right at the begining. Thanks for the best friend of mine who help me to break him off. He is such a pest. A pest from DCHL. Money faced. All i remembered was he tried to get money out of my parents which i dislike the most.

MLM is appealing. But only lazy people who wants fast-cash (which they hardly earns any if they cant find anyone to join them!)

Yes, in every business, you hard sell, but this kinda way of hard selling by
the distributors are somewhat not fond by the public in general.
Like what J said, they will give you all the talks and exaggerate till you
will be soften in hear and thus joining them as comrades.

I would rather sum it as the PUSH PUSH PUSH method aka PUSHx3

Wow big news!!

Someone tried to ask for RM100K each from steven yeam and DCHL through a middle party or else they will use 2 blogs to bring down their business. Steven Yeam and company ignored them and they reduce to 50K now.
If they pay, one of the blog owner will admit that he has misunderstood the business and apologise. The other one will announce that he has happily got his refund and case closed.
I immediately think of this blog.
What a trick.
Look like they will not get it.
Using website threats to make money are common in overseas but in Malaysia, maybe 1st time.

Can't Get Enough of DCHL/Lampe Berger

Everywhere I go, every corner of the Klang Valley..
Anyone and practically everyone I've met or known, knows Lampe Berger.
I just can't get enough of Lampe Berger everywhere I go..

I've stop doing this "business" and those who knew I went into it will sure
give me a funny look, when I told them I'm not into it anymore..

They will further probe me "Why? Cannot do meh? summore say can do!!"
and more "Cannot find people to con is it?" more.. "how much la you lost?"

A friend called me earlier yesterday and we talked. She told me that she is
so pissed that she was con to go for the "Business Preview" at Pyramid by
Steven Yeam. Funny how she told me how she was con-ed!

Then, a follow up with a fren yesterday also. He told me, his friend no
longer in the business of DCHL/Lampe Berger.. Reason? Because her
upline is so desperate of her investing RM 30,000 and later she found
out that the team needs her to push one guy up to Marquis.

Back then, I also face the same thing. We are instilled that we must help
each other to succeed in the business. Yes, how?

Scenario = Count challenging to be Marquis.
He needs 2 more Count and a sales volume of RM 468,750 in 3 months in
order to succeed to be promoted to Marquis. So all he need is to push and
push his team to recruit more or sell more to reach the sales target.
**Remember, sales volume do comes from the RM 30K investment**
So, on average.. in order for you to reach the rank of Marquis.. all you
need is 15 Counts. RM 30,000 x 16 = RM 480,000
By other means which is to sell the Lampe Berger products, one would
need to sell 780 lamps or 980 essential oils in order to hit the sales target.
Given which each lamp and oil costing about RM 600 and RM 480 each.
RM 600 x 780 = RM 468K / RM 480 x 980 = RM 470K
*Calculation is just roughly. It is not accurate*

Now you see why they would opt to recruit more than selling?

Yesterday, while drinking, this guy, a brother of my friend started talking
about stuffs on Lampe Berger after he knew that I was into that business
and now stopped. He went on and on saying..

"Lampe Berger can do wan, is see how you do it only.."
"You got heart to earn more money and determination sure can wan lor"
"You must follow how they are earning the money... system ma..."

Bla bla bla bla bla and bla... arghh I can't stand him and I made him
drunk for the night.. swaying left to right when walking to the car.!! haha

I am not totally against DCHL/Lampe Berger. It is just that, I can't and
would not follow how they educate people to loan money just to get into
the business and also how they teach you to persuade others to come
out and even persuade parents and tactics to go about in getting the
money to join.

It is just not me.. not me...

Well, I do agree that there isn't any "Get rich quick scheme".
Even though there is, there are sure to be any terms bound to it.
These terms are often not told by the introducer.

In DCHL/Lampe Berger, there are many ways these upline distributors try
to bring in or recruit more and more people to join under them.
Make these new recruits to invest at higher level, telling them that they
can earn alot in return. But in actual fact, they just want to reach a new level
with these new recruits...
What sucks more is that, these upline distributors don't keep their words
and leave their new recruits in despair and at total loss.

I am glad that these had been turn up, as i was previously franchise of lampe berger,being introduce by a friend sister, i started to realize it was a scam and start to wake up to reality after a year or so, we can see why those claim they earn thousand of thousand,but still they travel from penang to KL with buses, go up n down with buses, cant even afford to buy a house but rent a room even MARQUIS or DUKE. and latest i heard they even bought BMW for those achiever just to attract new comer, wonder how true that is.

the most important i need to share is my friend sister and her boy friend, they both own 2 hawker stall earning quite a good amount of money every month, but ever since her bf get introduce into LB, they stop their hawker business and full time into LB. their uplines, a so call WELL EDUCATED engineer, the want who keep pushing them to be Counts, these couple doesnt have enough money to get onto COUNT but these upline keep pushing, even borrow money to them, when the starting stage, these upline are damn tricky, he are good to u on the start, when he already achieve as a marquis, shit start to happen, after these upline achieve as a marquis, he left these couple alone running around, fighting month and month alone without help from upline, they started to be on debt ever since, even borrow money from her own brother my friend, and now they have to give up and start all over again..and guess what , that FARKER still dare to call em up collect those money which he borrowed which are from LOAN SHARK!!beware..i don know how r they doing now but then the last time i met them, they were under a new upline from taiwan,they claim that these new upline are good in build up..wateva man, i am wishing them getting back in reality, or mayb shud start back their own business..

i myself only got cheated for 2k plus, a 2k plus a good experience i had took, and realize there is no CEPAT KAYA, KEEP IT REAL guyz..

Hello, all of you did such a great job in your blog. Just to share with you
one of my small experience, is nothing compare to the rest of you.

I have one of this friend who join Lampe Berger. After this, I noticed that
there is severe change in his behaviour, etc. He seemed to be very excited
and start dreaming to retired soon, etc...even my customers who is multi -
millionaire has never dreamt to retire and still working even though their
age has already over 55 years old (as I m from the Petrochemical industry,
I have lots of customers in the Malaysia plastic industry).
After I start sharing some truth face about this lampe berger thing, he has
chose to shut his mind off and then until now never contacted me just because
I do not favour this lampe berger thing.
Even though I have known lots of MLMs thing for example Amways,
Cosway, etc...simply because they are focused on products.

I'm against lampe berger for the following reasons:
1. As I always heard from them, they are not there to sell products but
merely recruiting people. (sound like a fast rich scheme to me).

2. I do not like the idea of forcing people to fork up their hard earn
money for necessary things like lamp. Even RM 2k is not a small amount.
What more RM30k. (look like a money scam to me). What a crook!!

3. For lots of others product from other MLMs such as Amway, they do have
the benefit as per claim. However, for lampe berger claim like can kill
bacteria, etc. I found out it is mostly false claim.

4. I am also against product sell at one location via retails and another
location via MLM. What I am more against is those selling at retails is
cheaper. If it is the other way round, it doesn't matter.

Lastly, for those that stuck at this and lost their money, I suggest that
if they felt being mislead into this business via false information, etc.
either by their uplines or the company, they can sue them for
misrepresentation at court and demand for compensation. If it is the
uplines that mislead you, sue the uplines and if it is the company who
mislead you, sue the company. I am currently also Law student from
University of Londan. Therefore, I know what I am talking about in legal
term. Just find a good lawyer for this case, no need to worry on the legal
fees as the loser in the court will need to pay for everything.

I've got a very heated exchange of comments on my previous post as well
as in DCHL/Lampe Berger BAD EXPERIENCE.

The rumblers are dexter, metal steed rider, Anonymous and many others.

You guys are my loyal readers.. and I do thank you for reading and
exchanging your views on your own personal insight.

First of all, this site is created to CREATE AWARENESS on the many
mis-conduct and un-ethical distributors of DCHL/Lampe Berger.

Of course, with the so many case of re-fund that many are unable to claim
so as the many dirty tricks that up-line uses to bring in new recruits and
not FULLY INFORM the new recruits of the terms & conditions layed down,
we still cannot find a real good case against them.
Why?
Simple... agreement is there, and once any party signed, it is already said
that they are bound by the agreement.
To avoid this, we created this site, to show the people that, they must
look into all the details before joining, by looking at the past how people
suffered because of the small agreement stated in the sign-up form

Dexter and others, there is no need to argue, who is right and who is wrong.
We don't need to challenge these current distributors on what are the real
past of DCHL/Lampe Berger and OHK Associates.

What I've posted up here is more than suffice to tell others what are the
real past of DCHL/Lampe Berger and their current practices.

Going to court, is just a waste of time. For all you know, you might win the
case, but they will be telling you that, none of those who has been affected
didn't state their claims and so on.. thus leading them to victory.

Their legal terms & conditions are real true binding agreement that can be
used to avoid any legal matters. I've seen it, read it and even signed it.
Going through agan, I found out that, there is way no point for me to bring
my own personal matters with my up-lines to court because I know, I can't
win over them due to their legal terms & conditions stated.
Even my lawyer said, I would have a very slim chance to win, because I don't
have solid proofs and black & white agreement between me and my up-lines.

I've said enough.. I leave the rest to all of you..

my poor colleague had just invested 30K and quitting her promising full time job for LB. Do you have any story in mandarin, b'cos she is chinese educated cant read English.

I have heard a lot of bad experiences prior to visiting your website.
I am trying very hard to convince her that LB is not her cup tea but she and her boyfriend are so obsess that she borrowed 30K from her mother hard earn savings.

She told me that she is going to be a distributor in Muar, isn't she invested to be count?

Correct me if I am wrong, she says they promise 90% refund if she can't make it in 6 months,
has anybody successfully got their refunds?

Please advice on procedure on getting refunds.
Please advice me on how to convince her not to immerse further.

Re-fund, i would say.. near 50% of them who ask don't get it.
because of the UNSAID or UNTOLD agreement to the downline.
Make sure, the lamps that she is holding is re-fundable.
Signature lamps can't be re-funded so as promotional items.

Make sure she understands and read all the agreements.. as I know they are all in English..
Which would be a problem to her, since she don't know how to read English.

Re-fund can be done with a letter of intention to re-fund to the company, RZ Corporation.

Yes, in every industry there are un-ethical one and ethical ones. Please do stick to my main point of judgement in this blog. It is towards the many un-ethical ones in DCHL/Lampe Berger. I can even start a blog on un-ethical doctors, but no. Sorry, I haven't encounter any doctor where I need to pay them first and then receive consultation. Most of the visits are pay later.

Oh, let me tell you. The main reason why people can't get their re-fund is because there are distributors who are un-ethical enough to treat their downlines like dumbshit and give them stocks that can't be return. What's worst is they neglected the term "responsibility" upon signing in new distributor under him/her.

I feel for his pain and his anger as well...
If, it would be me, I would be like Steven, running into the office
and shouting his name like crazy fella and ask him to return all my
money, and scold him cheater and so forth directly there itself.

Thanks for sharing your story. My case was worse than yours. Like
loan-shark only. Anyway you should ask your upline to pay you back RM3k
from his own pocket because he cheated you. If he tries to put the blame
on you by saying you didn't work or whatever just say you don't care
because he took your stock and cheated you. You should ask him, ask his
family, continue to bug him... where does he live? I hate these kinda
people man.

My story is like this,

My upline took me to the LB office to listen to their marketting plan,
at that time I was the very first upline he approached and he sounded
very nice... caring... willing to help me do the business... he agreed
to lend me the capital of RM2xxx to start the business because I told
him I had not enough money to start and he told me that I can pay him
back only when I got the money from the business because he had faith in
me.

So oklor I was thinking what the heck man I pay a little but get the
stock from him which is worth even more... so okla I went to listen to
the thing and he told me ok pay him RM150 first he will lend me the rest
so I did lor... I paid him RM150.

After few days he came back and told me some reason he couldn't sign me
up la asked for RM600 instead... so oklor I gave him RM600 and then
continue going for the meetings and NDO and all that crap. Finally he
said his upline told him that uplines cannot lend money to downlines
because it's not allowed in their business so he asked me to fork out
RM2xxx lor.. and I was stuck because all my money was already with him
and he told me that he already used the money to register me as a buying
member. Later I found out it was fake because the money was with him all
the while. So I was stuck la.

I decided to use credit card to pay. I had cash but I needed the cash
for something else. Even then he asked me to use my cash and assured me
I could earn back my cash in time. Now I think about it, good thing I
didn't trust him otherwise I would not have any money left.

So okla I swiped card but he cheated me as well. As you know Counts are
allowed to sell their stock to their downlines but then they can only
accept cash right? He didn't tell me this fact either. No wonder he kept
telling me if can pay cash better la because paying by credit card would
be very inconvenient for him. And that also means I must take whatever
stock he has so I can't choose my oil or lamp. So I still swiped card at
the counter but then I didn't swipe it for my own product. He made me
swipe for RM2xxx worth of products which other uplines wanted to buy
from LB. I swiped and his uplines gave him the cash of RM2xxx for the
products which I have just swiped for.
The downside to this is, I do not have any receipt from LB for my
purchases so then I cannot return for my refund right? My receipt from
LB were for the products for his uplines which I had swiped my card for.
So I was stuck la how to refund?

So after that I felt very cheated coz of all these facts he was hiding
from me while he was asking me to go gather the cash. I feel very angry.

What can I do about this? I can give you my DHCL number but I need to
search for it coz I deleted and burned all my LB related stuff already.

I'm here not to condemn anyone, just want to share my story....

I joined DCHL 2-3 years ago. Since I joined it, I became very positive thinking and aggresive in my life. Always thinking of becoming rich, thus having plenty of free time in the future and many many more which now I know these are all about bullshit dream.

Why would I joined DCHL? I believe everyone has their own dream to improve their live. They (members in DCHL) take this as a opportunity to stimulate our will to achieve it by persuading us to join DCHL, saying a lot of positive aspect and with the influences of other distributors of DCHL.
Finally I (or most of them) became confident and joined DCHL.........

After trying to put in effort for almost 2 years, I finally realised that to be successed in MLM is really not as easy as they said and very subjected to your own characterictic and of course luck also. For those who seems to be successed, actually is not. A lot of them is just pretend to be success and for those who as succeeded, we will never know the true story on how he did it although they keep on telling us the story of how he succeeded. What I want to say here is, they will never tell us the hidden cost and the 'dirty' way to do it.

I've not cheated by anyone in LB instead, I gained alot of friends. I didn't blame my sponsor because all of us is experiencing the same situation....he/she may also join DCHL for the same reason ==> influenced by others....

The influencing is very dangerous cause, something that's is not true, but with the influences of a big crowd may make us feel that it is good and true....

But fortunately, I awakened now and just concentrate on my work and trying to clear my debt (mosy of it from DCHL). Now I really know what is mean by ' 平淡是福 '........luckily is not too late......

So dear friends, please open up you eye before you make any decision to join MLM....MLM is not the only way to improve our life.....

It is true that persuasion and influence from other distributors are the factors
making people believe that this whole system will work for them.
Thus, when "seeing is believing" struck their eyes, they too join the team.

Now, I wouldn't disagree with his point of view as it is proven to be true.
Showing off of BMW, act like they are earning 5-10K a month, when they
are actually not there yet.. How true his statement is..

It is good this reader has now awakened and concentrating on his work now.
Rather than some of the distributors in there keep on struggling, while they
are not making a stable income out of it. What hurts more is they leave their
conventional job and try to make a living "full-time" in DCHL/Lampe Berger.
Which to me is a big NO-NO. Why would you want to leave a job which give
you stable income monthly and opt for a job which does not?

Different people would have a different preference in their lifestyle.
Sometimes, it is just mankind in us that we want something that we don't
possess. When we are poor, we want to be rich. We don't have a BMW,
we want them. We are rich, we want to be richer. It is just us...

So, friends, distributors of DCHL/Lampe Berger, shall I re-quote again,
"MLM is not the only way to improve our life....."

The Sun news 13th April 2006.

It is reported yesterday that, the highest complaints received by our
local complaints department is on Lucky Draws scheme, reported TheSun.

Now where is the percentage for "Direct Selling"? Or it is either clasified as "Recruitment Agencies" or "Others" under the Services???

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Talaat Hussain said complaints against such schemes and scams accounted for a quarter of the total 6,106 claims on goods and services filed with the Consumer Claims Tribunal last year.

In all, the tribunal received 1,515 claims against operators of such schemes, many of which were dubious.

"Some of the companies are not easy to identify due to the way they operate," he said.

"Some are not registered and even if they are, the contest they organised hinges between legal and illegal.

"And, most of those who have been cheated would not make a report, probably due to embarassment.

"But when there are reports, the tribunal will sit and deliver the necessary judgments."

Now, why I put up this post?
Because I find it so similar to the problems many are facing with DCHL/Lampe Berger. Why not many would want to complaint, and also there are many too who don't even know where to go about..

Lampe Berger - Good,Bad,Ugly

Recently, saw 2 friends, both still a distributor in Lampe Berger.
One of them is challenging Marquis. Means, currently at the position of
Count and garnering sales to earn himself a Marquis position.
We talked abit, asking how each of us is doing.

We were once in the same team, but when things turn ugly=MONEY..
The big team split into two... it is a long story.. but to cut things short...
Once you let money carry you away, it will turn really ugly even for the
bestest friend of whom you are with will end.

He brought up the matter of the 2 team, we were both separated in 2 teams.
I told him, it is because of an un-ethical upline I have, I decided to stop.
Not because it can't be done, just NO WAY to un-ethical upline.
In a way, just me pursuing what I like to do in my career in life...

Well, he is not that pushy kind of person when I knew him last time.
Very energetic, and well mannered person, both of them. Maybe their
success is paying off because of their good deeds. Maybe.. who knows..

Talking about good deeds, anonymous reader pointed me to these two pics..

Well, I've known that Steven Yeam donated RM 100,000 to the Monfort
Boys Town expansion project even before it came to the news. That is a good
thing to do. I wonder how many Distributors are following his footstep.

What's more ugly is, even with his success, he fail to educate his people to be
a good ethical distributor and maintain an integrity in the business.

Even worst, with problems arising, he takes no concern at all, to solve it.
I would say, he is only success on the outside, but internally, he is not...
"Money" in DCHL/Lampe Berger makes one prevent each other to climb
in ranks... thus jeapordizing their friendship in the business... why?

I've seen it with my own eyes, and it just sucks..

Personally, I do respect Steven Yeam in person, just that, matters like this
that arises, it not dealt profesionally..

I do agree, that there are people who are making this whole "business" as
a living and I do wish them luck. What we here ask those successful ones
is to get rid of those bad apples in there.. that's all we ask.. justice to those
were once "cheated" by their un-ethical uplines, because the up-lines
wants to make quick buck by pulling more people in and thats all...

Lampe Berger's topic has been hot this few years and it is getting hotter.
Why they are so different from many other Direct Selling companies?
Why are some distributors are neglecting the DSAM Code of Conducts,
which is endorsed by Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs.

There are even comments that MLM is Spoiled and Soiled.
Shall we draw our conclusion now? or shall we wait for the Ministry's Action
which we all know that will never come...?

Have we now a better understanding of LB yet? Guess not.. There are more..

LB Help, will not rest its blog, untill, there is no more matters of re-fund
or un-ethical distributors are heard..

Lampe Berger Issue all around...

Lampe Berger Issue is everywhere, even whem I met two of my friends today separately in different time. The issue brought up was the same problem just like how this person below e-mail in to voice out. But, there are more than the issue of re-fund itself, which we here in LB Help will focus abit rather than the un-ethical uplines problems. Here goes the mail..

After seeing all your blogs and Brand Malaysia blog, I think it is something that we should bring to the attention of the weaker mind of what this LB is all about. I attach below a story of LB which surrounds my friends and I since the LB things began spreading. I would appreciate if you keep my name anonymous. LB Help: Will do.

The story goes like this...

A friend of mine,AK joined Lampe Berger after some approach from another
friend of ours. AK borrowed some money (heard it's a 4 figure amount) from his girlfriend to invest in LB, even with his study loan unpaid. It's been almost 2 years since he joined. All our friends that I come across had been approached by him to join LB and seen him like a repellant.

Another friend, KV who was persuaded by him to joined, regretted. He told me that he felt he was conned by his best friend (AK) to fork out money using his mum's hard earn RM2,345. Since then, KV got less than half of his money back, quitted LB, hated and doesn't talk to AK since.

Recently, AK's girlfriend, CS of 5 years who lives together with him suddenly decided to leave KL and go work in Singapore, not breaking up with him but just to work there for more pay. We (AK's friends) were puzzled. Hence we approached her on her decision.

It was a sad story. She explained to us that since AK stopped his permanent job and joined LB full-time since 2 years ago, she is the only person that is the primary breadwinner. She has to pay for the rent of the apartment and most expenses at home. All AK could earn is from the freelance job that he do once or twice in a month.

CS who earns RM3,000 a month wasn't able to save any money from this salary considering that she still have a car installment to pay every month. Hence, 6 months ago she started looking for other company that would be able to offer her more somewhere in KL. She found a better offer. Best of all, she request and got the offer for AK to become a Junior Photographer, a higher ranking and higher pay in the same company. AK rejected the offer even without thinking.

CS was disappointed. Hence she job hunt for work in Singapore and got other offers. We also heard from CS that the money she borrow AK to invest in LB was her savings for their future home. She doesn't mind if AK would want to pursue his dream to get rich through LB. But AK wouldn't even want to at least contribute to their small living by accepting a permanent job that knock on his door.

When AK as CS on her reason to work in Singapore, CS would just say, "Can you afford a life right now?" It's not that CS is a big spender or anything. She's the most understanding and thrifty girl I've met. She never expected AK to return the money he borrowed or give her a good life, but just a normal life that they used to have even when he have to work 18 hours a day, with enough money to eat, watch movie and occasionally buy some stuff.

When we asked AK how does he feel since CS has to go, his reply was, "I'm going to put all my time in LB so that I can start to earn 4 figures and pick her back from Singapore next year".

Little does he know, CS decision to leave was a hard one for her because it's also the first step of their breaking up process as she had told us...

A lesson to all out there who is interested to join LB. Yes, there are people who gain and got wealthy because of it, but how many are there who got rich compare to those who joined and never got rich? Yes, they can drive a BMer, but do you think they still can pay for the installment 3 or 5 years down the road by using the money they earn in LB? If you come from a rich family, it is alright to get burnt with RM30k. But if you are not from a rich family, don't ever think of joining LB thinking that it is a "Get Rich Quick" scheme. Nothing comes easy in the world. Nothing comes free. You will end up with even more debt in the end.

If you think that by spending RM30k to join LB with your own hard earn money and lose it, then it's your own problem. But if you have to borrow RM30k to join LB, then you must think of your social responsibilities to your friends and family.

p/s: Pardon me for having to keep all the name anonymous. Afterall, it's other people's family problem, we are not fit to critic but only to bring the sense to others out there.

Mack Zulkifli, one of Malaysia's known blogger made a post on Lampe Berger.

In his blog, "Lampe Berger: A catastrophe in the maing?" talked about
how a mother face a daugther who turns ugly when she(the daugther) is not
granted a loan of RM30k to put into the business of DCHL/Lampe Berger.

Quoting from his blog what the mother told him,

"She went into vivid details about how her daughter had pestered the family for RM30k, and after a huge fight, left the house fuming, claiming that she will be a prostitute to earn the money, and after that will be 'richer than papa' and return home to spit on their faces."

Now, this is really a troubled one.
How can she do that?
I mean, what makes the daughter reacts like this to the mother?
Certainly, we are not blaming Lampe Berger.
Maybe the "money" that she sees in Lampe Berger motivates her to act like
that to her parents?
Maybe the soon to be upline question the support of her parents?

It is sad to hear that there are still many casses going on. Also on another
topic by Mack, "Lampe Berger/SYN:Calls for investigation pours in"
This post is a good read where Adrian Oh, one reader posted his case
of how his brother is being pulled into this scheme.

Mack's blog has ganer an interest of broadcast and print media to get
more information of this matter. Lampe Berger Help will do our part
in supporting all the infos needed by the media.

There are also blogs sprouting up to feature this piece of news.
Eathinc in his podcast saying that his father actually called up the Ministry
of Consumer Affair to complain. Am sure more will do the same.

No Solid Foudation of Business...

One poor soul joined DCHL/Lampe Berger after much persuasion from
his friend. Was told that investment can be returned even if he is just
a "Franchise" status. Now he regrets his for believing his friend.
He just wasted RM 2345, hopefully, not his friendship too...

I joined LB after 4 months of persuation from my friend. He told me that
there is 90% refund even if i am just a franchisee, and he also paid the
money for me first to join. At first, he never tell me about investing 30k to
be a count. By the way, i am under syn network. in the group, everybody
was asking me when i wanna invest 30k, go and borrow or what lah.

I think they have used the wrong technique in doing this network marketing.
They only want to be rich fast, drive bmw, etc. but at the end of the days, all
are dead. So many people returned their stocks of which they invested in
count level. I also heard that marquise for the past 3 years are no longer now.
Get rich fast and also die fast. To me, this is a no no. There is no solid
foundation of the business at all.

All the young people with no business experience wanna get rich fast and
show off. I on the other hand waster rm2345. really regret.. regret...

True business minded people with true business background would
see that there is totally no business foundation at all in DCHL.
Yes true, they are running a direct selling company where everyone
is a distributor. But the meaning of "Distributor" is being exploited as
"recruiter". So, you call that selling? or recruiting? in DCHL/Lampe Berger

Real solid business is where there is a transaction in items and cash value.
That is not seen in DCHL/Lampe Berger because the transaction is a mere
purchase of stock to be part of the distributor of the company. Not an
interest to purchase the items.

Well, it seems that  is getting to know some of the aggressive people. Apart
from these attacks I adore your courage. Malaysia does indeed need
people like you. People have the right to know each and every aspect before
they act.

A piece of advice for those that bad experiences from Lampe Berger,
please be strong when facing false accusation. Personal attacks are
always committed by those who don't have any proof to backing up them.

For "Anonymous": (refer to 26/3/06 5:32 PM, "Anonymous")
Please proof things that you said, rather than bashing people feelings
with nonsense accusation. Don't simply say someone is envy from
other's wealth, because generally people are not being brained washed
into materialistic drones, where every things has to be associated
with money. One of my friends currently is so into Lampe thingy, until
she preys on one of my friend who intended to continue his study. Some
people are born to be sales, and some of them are not. In addition,
don't use lies cover up, because when they found out that they been
scammed by their own best friend, the backfire due to the lies is
unbearable.

I have been studying MLM for a long time, viewing from pros/cons
perspective, the varieties. So far Lampe Berger is one of a kind,
where they 100% exploit the weakness of the MLM by morphing the
original idea into a pyramid scam. One may ask why so many highly
educated person would ever consider being a part of this scam? Most of
the time not because they saw the true value of this business, on the
other hand, they were being introduced by lies, as "garbage in garbage
out" terminology shows that feed with false information people will
have to make mistakes. Whether he is a professor, an engineer or even
a doctor, being at that status doesn't mean he comprise both knowledge
and wisdom.

The ability to separate truth from lies is from their wisdom,
regardless how high their knowledge can be.
I indeed had been introduced into several MLM; half of what I'd been
told was a complete and utter lie. The other half was a conveniently
constructed lie. And the truths lie within the lies. I think you might
respond me by saying people doesn't need to know negativities and
claming me being a sociopath or what ever your creativity can come
out.  I can assure you that all my claims are from all my
observations, none of them were made up.

(1) The way that MLM people contact, there are even seminar teaching
them withhold certain details during conversation just to lure
people's interest.

(2) The perspective changes, I do believe a lot of MLM people are
started in a ethical manner, but sooner or later their moral being
eroded until once was seen as false now being true. These types of
people are the ones that are most likely being broke and leaving this
business without any surviving skills. What they have is a false dream
that will never be true.

(3) The Millionaire smokescreen, just like a carrot on a stick hanging
in front a bunny. Money is always around the corner, and as always
people always have subjected into environment that gets your emotion
so High until all the facts doesn't seems to matter. And this is what
professional refer as Brain Wash.

Addition to that is market saturation, if population continuingly
growing in an exponential way theoretically MLM might be the ultimate
utopia for all of us. But in reality, population is limited by resources,
culture and location. So, when the market approaches the verge of
saturation, someone is doomedto be the lowest level (hopefully it
won't be you, but then again, I will certainly be someone you introduced).
But wait!
What is so good in Lampe Berger is the fact that people can
"Invest" RM 30,000 to get a higher rank.
Wow! Isn't that great? Nope! By definition of MLM this short cut is the
thing that labeled it as an illegal scheme.
Okay, let's omit the illegal problem and concentrate on the fact you bought
the position by using 30 grand, it would seems that you achieved the
position that you dreamed for. But the way that this business really
works is that you built a network, a network large enough that
everyone's money being funnel into your pocket. With a short cut like
that, it just gave the upline the opportunity to spreading false
success for luring others "Potential" person into the system. What do
you get? I think the opportunity of being scammed?

In fact, if you still reading up until now, I guess you might say, if
Lampe Berger is really that terrible why it is still being around and
still growing? With all the Motivational activities that alter a
person's minds it create a society that depends on it keeping the
money flow thus the kingpins gain more and more, and showing off their
wealth to cloud the minds of innocent people. These innocent people
started this business ethically (whereas being scammed unknowingly),
in an obscure way these innocent group consuming their creditability
backing up the organization giving it an artificial credit. Hence,
among mlm's believes it is a great business.

You might even say, a person tends to believe what he wants. In a
strange way, I do agree. I don't believe Lampe Berger operating under
MLM structure + Motivating is ethical. Anyway, a lot of things are not
ethical as far as I know, but they still exist around us, such as
prostitute.  Don't you think they might ask you the same question that
many of you asked me? "If we are so harmful, why do we still exist?"
Do they? Or it is the people are to blame? I think we can't have a
world that is purely good or purely evil; it is always falls in
between.

This blog was created based on reporting the facts, never once I saw
any personal attack were made by the author of the blog. He is just
merely raising the concerns and hopefully people will have a better
idea on what is going on.

It's okay, I bet your email are swamped with a lot of mail, indeed I'm
more in the position as an observer than someone related being in
there. One of my many encounters with MLM the most unforgettable
experiences is my so call best friend start to stereotype me and
discrediting me behind my back. Who are they to judge me if me don't
find it interested in Lamps? Who are they so claim it works for
sensitive nose when the very thing that makes my nose stuffy is their
lamp's scent? I'm not saying they are bad person. But it is really bad
to stereotype people for their perspective?

I think the root of all evil is the Motivational System exist parallel
with the Direct Sales, because it is only makes sense to a person to
join such pyramid gimmick when their clouded by these deceptive
person. When freshly entered person was fully brainwashed, they expect
everyone to listen to them, but when we raise our concern. Wholla~ You
have just got yourself into a "Bad For Business" list.

Business is run base upon rational analysis, not totally day dreaming
every time meeting was held. Hmmm… "When dreams are big enough, the
fact doesn't matter" – according to a lot of MLM people.

Anyway, I think I might write something once in a while. Hope I can
entertain the audiences and brought some attention to the public. And
hopefully MLM distributor will be getting less ignorant.

believe me.. this shows the power of LB, where the education system is
so strong till our dear james kept on repeating the same stuffs from the
courses we attend.

dear james : as what was told for many times, we are not blaming other
people if we dun succeed in this business. we are not blaming the plan as
the main reason y we cant succeed as well. i pointed out the fact that in
order to get the overidding we gotta put in more money, and that is the
fact. its just either u buy the products urself or to sell them to other ppl
to accumulate the points. a lot of ppl ignored that juz as what u said, if that
fella can earn 5K per month the 2500PV he give or not? sure give right?
coz its affordable for him (as i was told for endless time by uplines also :)

i shall say there is an error in my previous posting, the marquis should be
counts, as marquis still has the 3% overidding to all the count groups. so as
a count who is not a marquis yet, wont u think its quite a burden to throw
in money? i mean if they do not have active franchisee or baron. i was not
assuming anything but thats what was happening to the counts ard me.

they gave up the overidding coz they dun think its worth to get it by giving
out 2500PV by themselves. this fact was pointed out to create an awareness,
as many counts will do this business full-time without having other income
which made some of them struggling.

believe me or not, i was in this business for almost 2 years, until now after
i quit, i've never blame any of my uplines, coz they really helped me a lot
but things juz didnt turn out that well. so i always say i was glad to be in
taiwan line.

u must understand the main reason why this blog was created at first,
before keep on repeating the same points that wont make any difference.
if ur happy to be in LB i congrate u with sincere heart coz its a good thing if
u can get what u wan there. but there are still lots more ppl whom dun even
understand how the plan actually works but already bang their head into it,
and ended up with failure. this is to give them a clearer picture.
we never say LB cannot do, same as what u said its just the ppl's problem
and i agree with u. but cant deny that there are also some loop holes in the
plan itself, wether u notice or not.

why are we spending so much time here to tell so many stories? we've got
nothing else better to do? we juz dun wanna see there will be more people
end up with nothing, thats y we care n tell.

I've already seen this matter with my up line and already made my same
statement to the company, in which they are looking into the matter now.

But I would like to stress that, in Malaysia, there are many troubled
matters in which parents are worried over their children who asked for
a lump-sum of money to "invest" in this business.

It is with constant persuasion from certain up line towards their down
line that made new distributors jump on the gun to invest a hefty amount
of RM 30,000.

Some of which these monies are borrowed from friends and family.
Then matters of re-fund arises, and thus new distributors are stuck
with their "investment".

My honor to you Mr. Kim, that you would express my this little thought
towards Mr. Steven Yeam, the leader of SYN that distributors should be
taught that there must be a calculated risk in investing such an amount of
money. Not just simply putting in, because of wanting to earn more.
This is what most of the distributors fails to learn.

DCHL as well as Lampe Berger would be better off without un-ethical
distributors.

Solution to Re-Funds

We did some calling yesterday,

First, was to Direct Sales Association of Malaysia (DSAM)
Second, was to RZ Corporation aka DCHL aka Lampe Berger office.

We found out many great things, and indeed we are dumbfounded by
how ignorant can the company itself, RZ Corporation, not knowing
that matters about un-ethical distributors are just around them.

The first call was to Lilian of DSAM. We talked abit and we found out
that it is not only us calling in to lodge a complaint. To sum up,

1) There has been parents calling in because of their children got
involve with Lampe Berger and started borrowing money from them.
Most of the calls asked about legality of Lampe Berger aka DCHL.

2) RZ Corporation/DCHL is not even under the roof of DSAM where most
direct sales companies are.
Even Bel Air, their competitor is in it. Look for OHK Associates Sdn Bhd.

3) DSAM has already submitted an enquiry towards the ministry to
look into this matter and is now waiting for reply.

Now, DSAM can't do much towards DCHL/RZ Corporation because
they are not under their roof and thus many considerations should be
taken into because either would either sue each other for defamatry.

All DSAM can do is just voice out to the Ministry and let the ministry
take action, which we doubt they would, in a hast manner.

Next call was to Alvin, the supervisor of RZ Corporation.

He was shock when told it is not only one person who faces the matters
between our upline. He was like "Huh.. sure or not...?^?"
Well, we are suprised he don't know much...

Solutions to those whose money is being stranded between you and your
upline is to write in a letter. Yes, WRITE IN A LETTER TO

RZ Corporation
Level 1, Menara HLA,
No. 3 Jalan Kia Peng,
50450 Kuala Lumpur.

What to write?

You must state clearly,
1) What are the dispute between you and your upline.
2) What are the promises made by your upline but then
never held.
3) Is your upline pushing you to borrow money from everywhere
to push up for the count level? (This is truly against their rule)
4) How long has you been with the company and when did you join.
5) What are the stocks you are holding.
(Bear in mind signature lampes can't be re-funded)
6) Other matters you think is related..

Please bear in mind that you SHOULD ONLY write in, ONLY IF you are
facing a dispute over the matter of re-fund between you and your upline.

Should he/she refuses to re-fund and hold on to your stock or tries
to avoid talking to you into re-funding, then you SHOULD write in.

We are planning a batch write in to DCHL, to make an impact.
Send your request thru our e-mail for our address, and we will compile
your letter and send to DCHL.

Direct Selling & Malaysia

Malaysia has its own in-house association named Direct Selling Association
of Malaysia (DSAM) to help promote direct selling on a national and
international level. In their website, there are quite a number of
informations that one can obtain. All about direct selling of course.

Shall I give some links to some important informations

- Direct Selling Act 1993 (DSA93)
- Direct Selling Association of Malaysia (DSAM)- Code of Conduct
- Consumer Protection Act 1999 (CPA99)

First thing first, before we get involve in anything-direct selling. We all
should be well educated on the rules adhered to and which the companies
are bound to. Thus, if we are in any time found violated or being violated
of any of the rules which either we or the company is bound to, we can
thus submit a claim for tribunal act.

A talk held during the Direct Selling Convention & Exhibition 2006
is on Local Regulations. It is about "who is being protected?" and how well
the consumers are being protected by the legislation. Senior executives
shares their experiences and opinion towards this and gave an industry
perspective towards the DSA93.

The direct selling industry is so much being regulated by all the acts
and legislations but when matters of un-ethical distributors are not
tackled in a hast manner. It is so much like the "cakap tak serupa bikin"
people that we see and listen to everyday in the news.

I think there should be a place for people to voice out their discontent
against companies whom are not following the regulations they are
adhered to. Local authorities can handle complaints that much and
please don't talk about local newspaper, as they are being "regulated"
as well. Everything is being regulated.. So where should be go?

Well, maybe we can try KPDN & HEP and give them our shoutouts.
Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri & Hal Ehwal Pengguna.

Direct Selling industry in Malaysia is predicted to hit sales above
RM 6 billion this year in 2006 as reported by Kevin Tan, The Edge.

"The direct-selling industry is expected to grow by at least 3.5% to above
RM6 billion this year from an estimated RM5.8 billion in 2005 with more
companies setting up operations here, Domestic Trade and Consumer
Affairs deputy minister Datuk S Veerasingam said." (more)

And about regulations and regulating the direct selling industry,

"On regulating the industry, Veerasingam said his ministry had acted on
65 out of 128 complaints and a total of RM68,000 in fines had been
imposed on companies which violated the Direct Sale Act 1993."

Let us not take Veerasingam's words seriously this early yet...

Please do read up on the acts above and understand them, as they
are there to protect us-consumers.

Consumer Protection Act, 1999

Mr. Teng Chang Khim. I asked him where should I go
about with the problems we as distributors face.

His reply was :

As to your problem, if the amount involved is less than RM10,000.00 for
each of your cases, you may try to claim through Consumer Tribunal.
Get a copy of the Consumer Protection Act, 1999 and follow the procedure
provided. However, if your claim sum is more that Rm10,000.00, you may
have to engage a lawyer to pursue the matter.

Read it up and know your rights..
We are known as consumers once we buy anything.. No matter what.
And upon purchasing anything, we are bound with the Act..

I myself went to purchase the Federal Constitution Act.
Well, I'm yet to find Consumer Protection Act, 1999 in the MPH near me.

The convention has started and well, let's say, hopefully I can find time

A lost girl lost her money...

I've stumbled upon a blog, Jerry's Alter Ego.

There is a mail actively being circulated via e-mail since November 2005.

It is about a girl who was found missing and thus later found.

Jerry tried calling the number in his e-mail and ask if everything is okay.
But, the girl in the e-mail, Miss Lee is back in school now and enjoying
her life as a normal 19-year old.

Absurbs from the e-mail..

"Forwarded:
Attached is the photo of our friend Lee Choon Heng’s daughter, she
has not come home since she left home on Saturday morning
(19th. Nov). Her last contact with her mother (Linda) was at about
6 something that evening via mobile phone. She confirmed over the
phone that she was about to come home to join the family for her
mother birthday dinner.

She was last seen with a young DARK Chinese man in the coffee
shop on that Saturday morning. She has just joined Lampe Berger
( direct sales ) about 10 days and we believe that she has been
actively involved in this direct sales activities since then.

A police report has been lodged on Sunday noon and there is still no
news until now. Please contact me or Choon Heng directly if there
is any help you can offer.

Great site, I really wish this lampe berger will be delisted from

My brother just recently joined, paid RM 2345. Of course as a bro,

Isnt’ it obvious…they have outsize the network….the suckers who joined

This is not just a scam, it’s destroying our young people minds too…

To take action against these people will be the best course…

Well, lets see if I do get any response..

Je m'apelle ----------. J'habite en Malaisie.
(Hello, My name is ----------. I live in Malaysia.)

I would like to make a complaint against the company DCHL that was
given license by your company to run Lampe Berger in a Direct Selling
like business.

In fact, the definition of Direct Selling has not been carried by
Lampe Berger as till today as they are merely running on a concept of

Multi-Level-Marketing.

I do agree Lampe Berger has been doing great in these past years and
no doubt, Lampe Berger's lamp is indeed one great product to be used in any
household. The fact that being a great company and with a great product, the
company's image has been tarnished by a certain few distributors.

This is the blog that I've started not long ago to help those who has no-where
to seek help pertaining to matters concerning them as distributor to their
up-line or the company, DCHL.

There has been many cases where empty promises has been made, re-fund
not refunded, up-line not
being honest and many more...
Let me start of with re-fund case as it is the major matter concerning both
the new distributors, their up-line and DCHL.

I myself is one of the victim, whereby, my refund which was suppose to be
refunded did not happen.
I am new and I don't know who shall I look into for this matter.
I waited for my up-line's response and days later he gave me reply saying
"a better way for both of us". I blindly accepted.
Why I said "blindly" is because, it is with much promise my up-line Marquis
said that there are few Franchisee coming in, and I shall be getting some
money soon.

In the end, the reply was "Oh, they got their own stock to sponsor".
They here means my side-line distributors.

Next, is the worst part. I am able to sell my stock, but I must sell it at
the price of a Count.
I've invested in Baron which is 20% discount and a Count gets 38% discount.
So I am going to lose another 18%!.. I have no choice else my stock won't sell.
All worth RM 10,000. What a despair.

Yes indeed. It seems after starting this blog and much spreading the word
out, I've found out that it is not only me who is the victim of this so called
good investment.
The 6-months re-fund policy is not liven up to and new distributors who
joins with hope that 90% of their investment can be retained in 6-months
will be left in despair.

I suggest you, Lampe Berger Paris to look into this matter as soon as possible.

He is saying about LB being a scam and his blog shown a clip of TVB saying
that Lampe Berger is harmful. I wouldn't say that LB Product is harmful, but
the products are one of its kind.

Furthermore, he was mentioning that

A GET-RICH-QUICK scheme that lured a 20-year-old girl to invest an initial RM2,000 has got her mother worried, China Press reported.

Known only as Tan, the woman told the daily that her daughter, a college student in Kuala Lumpur, paid the money to join a direct sales company as a member.

She said her daughter was then told by company agents that if she invested another RM30,000, she could easily get RM60,000 in six months.

“My daughter asked me for RM15,000 and said her boyfriend would help raise the other RM15,000,” she told the daily.

She refused to give the money and her nightmare began when her daughter vowed to borrow it from friends.

Her daughter, added Tan, had slackened in her studies after listening to “success stories” of direct sales agents earning large sums.

it is not only us in Malaysia is having this problem.

It seems our asian counterpart in the far north is also facing the problems
of being used or cheated or what ever you might say.

In Hong Kong, there have a group being set-up in MSN Groups.
This group is called "Against Lampe Berger" group.

This group is mainly focused on hatred towards LB group.
Moderators, members of this group are those of former distributors of
Lampe Berger, of whom they are found being "used" or "cheated" into
the business. The group also keeps up to date to the current affairs
of Lampe Berger Hong Kong.

Unfortunately, to our dear English-base readers.
This webpage is all in Chinese characters. So there is a need to translate
it if you want to read what the site is talking about.

Re-living History?

It is sad to hear from our dear friends whom their friendship are being taken
for granted by their friends whom they trust or whom they knew.

We have a mail from a son of an old man. His father was brought into the
business of Lampe Berger by a friend. This old man's friend who brought him
into the business is just the same as the uplines of those who has shared here.

Let's look into what his son mailed me.

Hi ,

I would like to share a story with you. It happened last 2 years. It happened
to my father who was then retired and jobless. A friend of his, one day called
my father and told him that he could earn easy money by selling those lampe
berger. He then brought my father to Raja Chulan there and convinced my
father all the positive side of the business and say that if dont like can return
95% of the money , as told by my father's friend up line, Mr. Lim from my
home town, Seremban. I don't know his full name.

Let me tell u one thing, firstly my father is non educated, not even finish
form 3, He is a construction worker, and has never in sales line before. this is
the first time he listen to those mlm thing and was convinced that he can
return the product. And he was like brain washed by Mr. Lim , My family
keep quarrel with my father, even my sister dont want to come home.
My father go to listen some stupid seminar that keep saying how easy to get
money , and somemore need to pay for those nonsense. I also quarrel with my
father and told him that if u want me to join, just find 1 people in 3 month time
I will quit my job and follow him. But 3 month passes with no down line.
He looks dull and I advise him to return the product.
I say its a good try , At least he learned to wear tie when meeting people.

But things turn bad. Mr. Lim, as my father up line keep delaying my father to
get things return as he is going for marki status. My father wanted to go to
raja chulan there but don't know how to go there. On the last month, my father
wanted to go to the raja chulan there but was stopped by mr. Lim.
He then take all my father 's product saying that the product must depreciate
and lastly return the money less than RM13000 and my father lost about
RM17000.

I didn't say Lampe berger is not good, but the way those up line act, because
of greediness, they lie to other people and didn't think of how people
earn and save the money and then been taken away like that. I just dont like
the way they work. At first told my father, 95% of the money can be return
within 6 month. But at last my father loss about RM 17000,
This is a large sum for my family, My mother even cried for few day but later
can go on with their life.

knows since when they started to allow such distributors to be there?

U can say I am stupid lar..I agreed bcoz I should think b4 I act.

Well, I have been getting quite a number of comments on my previous
entry as well as the accompanying story.

An anonymous said these in his comments:

"why are there so many people proven successfull and making big money? the simple answer to this question is that the plan actually works.. very simple.. so please do not discriminate or destroy the company's name.. as u people are the ones that are not satisfied when ur not good enough.. "

It is a handful of distributors in lampe berger who destroys the name.
I would have to say that, we are not destroying the company's name.
That is not what we are looking as a conclusion from this blog.
We are looking into WHY there such kind of matter like up-line not
giving back a re-fund?
We are focusing on the people rather than the company as our blog heading
states. So please read carefully what are these people's story have to say.

after reading those replies, i thought i might just chip in with my own
experience as well.

i joined as a Franchisee last time. and when they present the plan, it's fantastic.
RM2345 investment, and you can become a millionnaire. steady. the plan also
looks good. very do-able. even now i still think it's a good plan, compare to
other companies like amway, cosway, runway, noway, nuskin whatever.

But the problem with the plan is that the money doesn't come from selling, or
doesn't come from joining as franchisee. the plan come from people who cut
count, and also people who are challenging marquis. that's the problem!

(cut count means investing in Count status which requires RM 30,000)

no wonder after i joined as franchisee, my upline always pressure me to look
for money, so that i can cut count. knn. where to find so much money???
how if i failed? i cannot afford such heavy debt ler. and know what they said?
"if you don't cut count, cannot do wan...show some sincerity...cut count..sure
success.." lol...

i'm sure a lot of ppl have been influenced by this and joined as count.
go home, call up everyone to borrow money just to cut count. all i can say is
that these people are all sohem. luckily i didn't do it, cos i personally know
some friends who cut count, and lose money.

i have a friend also in lampe berger. he joined lampe berger before me, and
when i saw him in lampe berger, he is already driving bmw 3-series sports
somemore. then about half a year later, i got a call from another friend, asking
me if i see this guy or not. you know why?? he owes few of my friends quite a
lot of money. more than rm10k i think, cos he owes few of them, quite a lot.
and guess what, they check his bank, and found out he already 4 months didn't
pay his car instalment. lol... i really wonder what happened.

he is not only one. i also heard got a group of ppl, they need to sell off their
bmw becos cannot afford to maintain it. lol...i wonder why they cannot afford
still want to buy. want to pump up the confidence.

those people in lampe berger, sometimes over confidence. i think in long run, very hard for them to survive. need big investment. might as well invest the money and do business rather than invest in lampe berger, which does not sound clever. rm30k for mlm. this must be the stupidest mlm plan ever. i think they really spoils the mlm market.

lampe berger is a rich man game. money make money. a pyramid scheme in
disguise. last time my upline say, "normally those gwailo will bring mlm to
asia, now asia will bring mlm to the gwailo".. lol
(qwailo means caucasian, and indeed all MLM is a pyramid scheme)

i doubt this. if they do these...lampe berger have to close down hundreds of
retail stores in europe and america. so many ppl's well being will be affected.
don't think so lampe berger will go mlm in europe and america. besides, their
price inflated too much. almost rm400 for a bottle of oil. cut ppl throat nia..
don't believe?? go to those retailers website on the net and check the price.
if you buy in the retail shops, you can get even cheaper. and a wider range
of selection.

i think the people in lampe berger spoils the mlm market really.
